extended studs from 20 mm vs. 10 mm spacer
Ok heres my problem.
I have 20 mm spacers with the extended studs on my car. I want to run 10 mm now and changing out the studs is very inconvenient. I am aware that with the 10 mm spacers, the studs will protrude about .4". Will I need to change the studs to the ones that come with the 10 mm or will the current studs I'm running work fine? Do I need to use open ended lugs if I leave my current studs on (ones that come with 20 mm)? Any help will be appreciated Thank you |
if you know you're not going back to the 20mm, just cut the studs while on the car. use a grinder and tap the stud clean at the end with a threader tool.
