My AME Tracer TM O2's, Many pics

Well I finally got my tires put on my wheels today and installed. I love them. The gun black of the wheels goes well with the gun metallic IMO. The wheels are 19x9.5 and 19x10.5 with 265/35 and 305/30 RE-11 tires. The offsets are +22 at all four corners. It really needs a 10mm spacer in the rear. As DannyGT(has same wheels) said they will look a little awkward being the car is not lowered. But I will have some coilovesr and SPC kit in about two to three weeks. So bare with me. It sucks waiting. This baby will need a big drop. I like how the light plays games with the contrast of the wheels. At times it looks as there's three different shades. I also installed some MXP lug nuts. These babies are light. They are black open ended lugs. Hope you like.

I would like to thank Speed Element for the wheels. Great people there. Also want to thank Sharif at Forged Performance for getting my tires so fast. And Shawn at FP for transferring my TPMS and installing my new tires. Great people and shop. There's so many projects going on up there. Nice to see three GTR's in one place. Anyways enjoy the pics. Sorry the car and wheels are a little dirty. Couldn't wait to take some pics.

Looks good

CrownR426 01-22-2011 05:41 PM

Great choice in rims!
Car looks much better now and once you drop it it'll be finished.

SE 01-22-2011 11:15 PM

Glad we could help :)

Wheels look great!

christian370z 01-23-2011 12:04 AM

Those are my dream wheels, I just hope there is a set still around by the time I can finally get them. A nice drop will transform that car, it looks like a 4x4!

SPOHN 01-23-2011 06:22 AM

Thanks guys. Yea the drop can't get here fast enough. But it does seem the more I look at it in person it doesn't look "as bad'' as in the pics. Must be the angles. Good thing the average joe wont know any difference until I get my coilover installed. But the way time flys it will seem like tomorrow.

kenchan 01-23-2011 08:46 AM

Yah drop it a little and tuck those under. Will look superb. :p

SPOHN 01-23-2011 09:34 AM

Plus along with the spacers in the rear. You can tell better in person.

DannyGT 01-23-2011 12:43 PM

Grats Spohn!! Once you get the car dropped you will love them even more! Depending on how low you go you will have to trim that plastic nub piece in the front wheel well that has the bumper support screw.

I know I've enjoyed mine for a while now. Good luck!

m4a1mustang 01-23-2011 12:51 PM

Those look great. They will be even better once you get your drop.

Red__Zed 01-23-2011 01:20 PM

I vaguely remember something like that. I'll check it out tomorrow and file it down tomorrow. I need something to do anyways.

By the way, how long on average does it take to corner balance a car? Being they know what there doing.

Waiz 01-23-2011 09:46 PM

One of my favorite wheels, congrats

ClemsonWill 01-24-2011 07:57 AM

I did a corner balance and align in ~1.5hrs, it might of been a little less.

Nice wheels man! I can't wait to see em with the drop...

JollyGoodChap 01-26-2011 01:38 PM

Love the wheels, Something you don't see everyday

christian370z 01-26-2011 02:14 PM

Hey Spohn, I was wondering about how much you paid for the set of those Tracers. If you want, do you mind letting me know?

GZ3 01-26-2011 02:18 PM

very nice...almost look like Z06 wheels with extra pronging. Since these are produced by enkei, are these light weight also?

98intrigue 01-26-2011 03:51 PM

They look good! With the rear spacers and coils, it will look amazing.

The spacer is a must the more I look at it. It's all coming. Then I have to install them, let them settle, corner balance, and get an alignment. Plus I got to get my SPC kit. But that's local. Glad you guys like. I love the color. It's really giving it the look I want.

GZ3 01-26-2011 04:46 PM

thats lighter than stock...nice!

Chris_1 01-30-2011 12:03 PM

I approve

NISMOFO 01-31-2011 06:41 PM

Those wheels are awesome....plus very light.

cheshirecat 01-31-2011 10:46 PM

These are some great wheels that are pretty rare to see on Z's, imo. You have good taste.

Looking forward to new pics with the drop. Throw some tire shine on there as well.

SPOHN 02-01-2011 11:19 AM

Thanks for the comments. Hope to have my coilovers by the end of next week. So far as the tire shine I hadn't wash the car that day. Still had the goo from the install.
