Status Autoworks (VIP Status) Phone Number Disconnected??
 

Does anyone happen to know what is going on with this place? Like I've posted in other threads, I've had a set of Venaci Mesh on order for what's coming up on 10 months now. According to Rick, he had my wheels in the shop on Dec. 4th (I still don't have the wheels). He said he was shipping them out last Wednesday the 15th and said I should have them by this past Mon/Tues (20th/21st). I was supposed to receive a call letting me know the shipping information on the 16th and never received the call. I called yesterday to see if he had actually shipped the wheels and what the status is. He was out when I called, so I called back later and the phone number is now disconnected. What the heck is going on at that place?

I totally understand where your at right now. Rick has always been a stand up guy but things do happen. I hope you get things sorted out and I know rick will come through as promised. If not give me a pm and I will see what I can do to help you out.

Have you tried emailing him(I am sure you have), I would save have some patience haha, but 10 months is a pretty tough thing to swallow. I am sure he will get back to you, from what I have heard, the guy is nothing, but amazing so I am sure its something maybe connected to the holidays.

Dave, maybe I can help. I order a wheel & tire set up from Rick yesterday and had problems getting in touch with him on Monday. Due to all of the rain they have been getting, his main line has had problems. Here is his other # that he gave me to try. 310-618-0850 Hope this helps. :tup:

Thanks guys. The 10 month wait has been a little rough, and not being able to reach him because of a disconnected number was icing on the cake. haha I'll give that number a try, and hopefully the wheels will be a nice Christmas present!

Tried that phone number as well. It is also disconnected...

that's weird. i was there on saturday for their status in the trunk meet/bbq. Everything seemed fine. Just tried it... I wonder what's going on.

I just talked with Rick on Monday, from 310.618.0850.

10 months?? I understand special orders, waiting in line, shipping, customs and I'm sure he is a great guy but that's really out there. You can make a house in that timeframe. I hope everything works out soon man! I've read all your other posts in different threads too and I'm getting nervous on my order myself... ::crosses fingers::

Haha. I hope they haven't been washed away, but in all actuality the wheels shouldn't even be on the west coast since they were in the shop over 2 weeks ago. I should already have them in hand...

10 months is hella long... I remember ordering some wheels from japan (special order) took about 3-4months ... a little over 3 months. And i thought that was long!! geeeez... I'm not a patience man... but sorry to hear this happening.

Like I said before I'm glad you could wait 10 months. I would have asked for the money back! :wtf2:

phone lines are down there due to heavy rainfall. I just talked to him today on his cell. He's still around, don't worry.

I ordered the aerojacket CF front, rears, and side blades about a month ago. We were waiting on the sideblades I think. Im hoping for a good news pm soon.

I was in Los Angeles last week for vacation and the weather was perfect. Hope the shop is ok.. Good luck with your wheels!
