I have the 265/305 setup on my TE37s. I will agree that they track considerably more than the stock tires on uneven payment. However they have serious grip. With the TT setup you are probably going to want as much grip in the rear as possible.

My tire guy told me the same thing.

how does you car feel when you daily drive it on the streets? do you think you lost any handling? gained?

I am running 255/305 setup. I was afraid of increasing understeer so I compensated with a stiffer rear sway bar. The car feels great for long daily drive and a weekend canyon run.

I think overall I gained, and the tire was a key component of that. The tires were the very first thing I changed on the car, so initially I ran the new tires with stock suspension. In that configuration handling only got better, turn-in was still crisp and overall lateral grip was increased. There is probably slightly more tracking, but nothing that I find objectionable even on a 500 mile drive. With coilovers and sway bars I'm even more happy.

Well, I don't daily drive it. I put around 500 miles on the RE-11s before I took them off for the winter. What little I have driven them I am very happy. It really all depends on what you are looking to get out of the tires. If you are looking for more of a daily driver tire, maybe consider something else. Ventus V12 tire is a popular choice. I have heard good and bad things about the tread life on the RE-11s. Once I get more miles on mine I will be happy to chime in about them.

275/305 is about the same split as the stock 245/275...I would go 275/305.
