MB Wheels

So has anyone got experience with MB wheels. I have just order these (http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...an&tmn=Drifter) for my winter wheels setup. I will be putting 245/40 on all four.

I will be giving my friend my sport package wheels to put on his 350, and getting my TE37s with RE11s for the spring time. :)

had MB's on my last car. Not this set, but wheels held up well. Not bad quality for cheap cast wheels.

They're a good option if you want a cheaper wheel for DD

I would like to be your friend....

Sounds good, looking forward to my new winter wheels/rubbers then.

Yeah, I had set of MBs on my RX8...held up well and suprisingly came in a "flush" offset for the car. I don't think you'e going to have any issues with this wheel.

Is the square setup better for winter driving?

well, yes in the sense that having a wide tire isn't really a great idea for winter, and in the sense that you can rotate the tires after 1-2 seasons to get some more life out of them. Also, certain brands don't make the right sizes for a staggered setup for our cars. i'm going with 245/45/18 Dunlop wintersport M3's all around on the stock 18's

diablokev87 11-01-2010 08:42 AM

Rotation is the exact reason i got a non-staggered setup. Also, i want these to be my driftin set, so i feel rotations would be necessary to SLIGHTLY increase the lifetime of the tires. :)

What size did you get for the front and how much wider for the rear?

cossie1600 11-06-2010 08:16 PM

It's not really a square setup if the offset and width are different on F&R

diablokev87 11-06-2010 10:13 PM

All offsets and widths are the same.

Did you get these installed? If so please post pics!
