This site has 20-25% off most of their wheels. I see the TE37's and the SSRs. I'm not sure which sizes to run and what's the best brand of tires. I'm not interested in buying now but need this information for the future.

SophiaZ 10-30-2010 09:19 PM

Soo, I guess no one knows what sizes fit the best?!

ZPhycho 10-30-2010 09:44 PM

I would go 19x9.5 front and 19x10.5 rear as for the offsets somewhere in the +22 range up front and +12 in the rear, tires I like toyo T1R or the RE11

Ztoon 10-30-2010 10:08 PM

I've been running RE-11's on SSR Type-F 19"x10.5 ET+15 5:114.3 rear, and 19" x9.5 ET=22 5:114.3 on the frt. in flat black, for about six months now, and are very pleased with them.

SophiaZ 10-30-2010 10:58 PM

Will I need spacers or hubcentric rings?! I need the hubs for my 20''s.

zero 10-30-2010 11:12 PM

I am running 19x9.5 front +22 with 255/35 and 19x10.5 rear +12 with 305/30.

Osiris 11-01-2010 10:22 AM

Everyone that i found that were using the TE37's had this setup:

19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +12

Mine are on order....i looked at that site, they seem to be priced well, cheaper than i payed. But i also didn't see any black TE37's on that site. I was also told that i wouldn't need any spacers for these rims...but that's yet to be seen.

I have these sizes with 265/35 and 305/30 RE-11s. If the price is an additional 25% off the listed price then this is an insane deal. I paid much more as well.

FairladyZ10PG 11-05-2010 06:04 PM

 No way! This can't possibly be legit. I've called around everywhere to find the best deal but nothing came close to this.

Back to the subject: It seems Potenza RE11 is the most popular among z34 drivers. However, if you are not planning to do a lot of canyon runs or tracking I suggest Hankook Ventus V12 Evo. Less traction, more practical and more affordable.

SophiaZ 11-05-2010 06:09 PM

Yeah I'm looking at it again...trying to sell my 20"s so I can get 2 new sets :) Pretty good prices here

nogoodname 11-05-2010 06:20 PM

What do you mean fits best? Just clear the BBK? Flush fitment or some poke?

Yea, flush fitment/ or with some aggression.

I'm planning on getting two new sets of wheels..19" SSRs gold/ or black..and some 19" TE37s. All depends on if I can get rid of my 20"s. May not be as soon as I hope but I will have the SSr's by Xmas. I'm in the midst of paying off my 12k fence loan so the Volks may have to wait a bit.

Thanks for that!!!

370Z JT 11-05-2010 10:21 PM

I checked out the site. Shipping quote was over $700. yikes.

SophiaZ 11-05-2010 10:27 PM

Wow..my quote wasn't that bad. Maybe I'll re-quote it

SophiaZ 11-07-2010 09:05 PM

Just lost $1600 + meds.... my doggie is going for ACL surgery next month. TE's are on hold :(

SSR's...good for XMAS tho :)

JB-370z 11-07-2010 10:04 PM

Sophia, let me know what you are looking for and I can see if I can get you a sweet deal with Baker Tuning.

SophiaZ 11-07-2010 11:20 PM

^ SSRs in Gloss Black (if they're available) 19"s :)

atx370z 11-08-2010 12:12 AM

$4,500 shipped for titanium silver Volk CE28's 19x9.5 +22 Fronts / 19x10.5 +12 rears....

I have no clue what a good deal is as i have not dealt much with expensive sets of wheels. So with that being said.... is 4,500 shipped a good deal for the above set of wheels? Im seriously considering pulling the trigger if so.

I'm not sure how secure the site looks. Looks like their certificate is expired. Also, I didn't see any of the following security stamps at the bottom:

http://eimages.ecost.com/en_ideamall...s/VeriSign.gif

or BBB
http://eimages.ecost.com/en_ideamall...anners/BBB.gif

Also, I'm sure if you send our vendor quote from the site, they will match it for you. Many vendors will work with you on price just because of the fact you're a forum member. I always ask members to support the vendors who help run the forum. Even if you pay $50 more, you will have a piece of mind. You know these guys are supporting this website which has many resources available to you FREE of charge. Just my :twocents:

I paid $5300 thru Forged Performance last year and got 4 TE-37's, Volk center caps, blue stems....AND Potenza RE-11's included. Is the $4500 just the CE-28's? If so...seems way high.....unless those are extremely superior to the TE-37's?

atx370z 11-08-2010 07:58 AM

Just wheels.... im going to wait and go through a vendor. Also, having a hard time deciding rims or supercharger.

Does this include tires? If not, the quote seems a bit high.

Jeffblue 11-08-2010 12:03 PM

sorry to hear about your dog? how did he/she get hurt?

SophiaZ 11-08-2010 09:33 PM

^thanks for the concern!
She had a torn ACL in her left knee two years ago and the docs warned that after the surgery I'm looking at the right knee getting torn ( too much strain after the surgery) She's doing ok right now....but the docs want to see her every two weeks :( and recommend surgery very soon.
I love this dog, dude! She's so crazy and full of energy even when her leg hurts..who can't love this face Ashame she's only 4 1/2 yrs old :( And has had 3 surgeries already

dixon cider 11-08-2010 09:51 PM

Sophia,
I train dogs part time for fun, and I have to tell you that Boxers are one of my favorite breeds. I had a female named Katie who live to be 13, and til the day she died, she bounced around like a puppy even though arthritis had set in about every joint she had. Awesome dogs. She is BEAUTIFUL. Good luck with her surgery.

BTW, good for you for not getting her ears done. IMO, they look SO much better that way.

SophiaZ 11-08-2010 11:02 PM

^ thanks for the concern and wishes ;)
BUT she's not a boxer haha..english bulldog/old English Bulldogge.
I do agree abut the Boxers..they look better with their ears natural and not cropped!
And yea, some dogs don't seem to recognize pain til it's at it's worst.

Wow!! You are correct. I just glanced at her. Still a good looking dog though. I guess I fail. Judges, can we have the score please.......
