I just got the Pilot A/S plus tires. They have the strangest tread pattern I have seen. They are a bit quieter than the OEM tires. Handling seems just fine. Now all I have to do is figure out what to do with 4 19 inch OEM tires with just 1500 miles on them.

I have a 2009 370Z sport, with Potenza RE050. After only, 6000 miles, the right rear is worn down to almost nothing, and the left rear is wearing fast too. Now, I never had my car on the racetrack, and I had the wheels alignment checked and they were slightly off. The shop manager is telling me that because the tire softness rating is 140, that 6,000 miles is normal for this tire. Is he snowing me?

ok so it rained today so i said hey lets go test em out its 50 outside... so cold tires to... id give em about a 6/10 the did not seem to want to hold on to long turns for a very long time however they cut through the water at 60 np so for 850$ not to bad now for you track pple to go play with them and review them

Didn't have my brand
Bridgestone RE-11. I didn't see them on the list.

Had Falken 452 (feathered wear)...they suck!! Had Kumhos on past car (after 5k performance drops off)...sucked! Had Bridgestone Potenza before...good tire but wore quick. Had BF Goodrich KDW...great tire for the price!! Had Mich PS2 before...perfect all around tire but awful price point! Currently running P-ZeroNero...loving them so far!!

The P- Zero Nero tire has worn in nicely lasting longer then the Falken it replaced at similar mileage mark. Grip is alot better also! My only gripe is they are on back order right now. Quote:

Thanks Kevr6. The PS2 is still under consideration then, for when I need to replace the OEM tires next year.

Here are a few reviews for the Falken. Exactly what I experienced!
Discount Tire Direct Reviews I will be trying the Hankook Ventus in the future also! |

I am running Pilot Super Sports and they impress me with every drive I take.

My pops mentioned that one of his neighbors is a michellan test driver at their proving grounds. :D
Since super sports are made in japan(?) I'm sure he's tested them too. I might get a set after my DW's are done. :p |
I have Hankooks on right now on my 20's. So far so good. Haven't been in the rain/puddles yet, so haven't experienced the awesome wet traction first hand. Would like to try Michelin Pilot Super Sports too some day...pretty pricey though.
|
On stocks, as soon as they are done; P-Zeros are next. Had them years back and they have ridiculous grip, loved them. My car is not a DD, so wear is not an issue.
