Nissan 370z Wheels

Do you plan on keeping the stock ones or going aftermarket?
I know the car isn't even out yet, but I wouldn't mind a set of good old Volks
:yum:

Slidefox 11-15-2008 10:13 AM

I think the Volk RE30's will look HAWT on the 370Z!!

Juno 11-15-2008 10:16 AM

Definitely aftermarket. Not a fan of the stock wheels. Can't wait to see what comes out for it!

Dav 11-15-2008 11:14 AM

Dunno. Want to see the stock wheels in person. If I like them, I'll mount spacers at least. The wheels are too much inside the fenders, as usual.

CrownR426 11-15-2008 02:27 PM

If I get a Black 370z I will get Volk TE37 Time Attacks
If I get a White 370z I will get Volk Gold TE37's

Dav 11-15-2008 03:19 PM

I like TE37 too. I used to have them on my ex-350z.
But I'm not sure about them on the 370Z. The same thing about CE28n

CrownR426 11-15-2008 03:26 PM

The rims look too good to mess up any car imo...
I'm addicted to those wheels!
So freshhhhhhhh and so clean, cleannnnnnnn!

370allout 11-27-2008 01:53 PM

yea they look cool but they stick in too much.

M.Bonanni 11-27-2008 02:06 PM

Although I think the 370Z stockers are some of the best looking stock wheels I have seen on a car, they are still stock :). I would go aftermarket for sure.

NA&CH 12-23-2008 07:31 AM

Stock for a while to see what offsets are mounted. Maybe space it out and drop it with some bigger tires. Might look good :)

If not that some advans for concaveness hahaha

Chris

I'm all for Stockie look.

2k6-z33 12-25-2008 09:26 PM

When I purchased my 350z I thought I was gonna keep it stock a week later I got an intake and then the mod bug bit me.

trevorluong 01-04-2009 12:21 AM

i'm not a big fan of the stock sports package 19s unfortunately :/

i wish they were gunmetalm then they would be almost perfect for the car

sbkim 01-04-2009 07:02 PM

anyone know how much stock wheels weigh?

LiquidZ 01-05-2009 04:08 PM

I'm going aftermarket.

Forgeline, Volk, or CCW for me.

M.Bonanni 01-05-2009 04:13 PM

I am thinking of going with a 19" or 20" iForged Monaco in all matte black with "time attack" stripe.

I will have to photoshop it on on the car first.

RCZ 01-05-2009 07:28 PM

minus the TA stripe

Will the stock 370Z fit on a 350Z? Our 350Z wheels are in terrible shape.

I want to know also.. but then I dont see why it wouldnt.

deysc 01-05-2009 10:46 PM

I want some on a 240!

Fries 01-15-2009 09:35 PM

Stock wheels will go onto the kouki.
Will be replaced by work emotion S1s.
Hard to deny such a timeless wheel.

Maybe Te37s =]

Zerafian 01-16-2009 08:15 AM

purchase the new Z with base wheels and go aftermarket all the way.

Fries 01-16-2009 11:07 PM

I want to buy a base model with:
Easy Button Downshifting
BBK
VLSD

I don't know if it's possible to do that though? Can you just get the items from the sport package without getting everything?

tvfreakazoid 01-25-2009 03:17 PM

Or buy wider profile tires would be another option.

OMGWTFBBQ 01-25-2009 08:03 PM

I think a set of Volk forged monoblock wheels (TE37, CE28n, RE30) will set the car off nicely.

tvfreakazoid 01-27-2009 02:04 AM

Those are pretty nice looking rims. How heavy are those? When I get my ride I would like to get some aftermarket rims, but something on the lighter side.

Although it all depends on the car owner's preference... Some like lip... some like gunmetal... some like gunmetal with a lip... etc... Flat spokes... curved spokes... thin spokes... wide spokes... etc.

I'd like to see the aftermarket aerodynamic styling upgrades to get an idea of which wheels would look best once it is upgraded..... mainly because the car has a smooth look to it but then again it has some sharp/aggressive features.

like a 19-20" Enkei GTC01 Evolution & DF01

Other than those 2 Enkei's I also like the RP05, RP03, RPF1 TypeRC, plus many more like the Yokohama Advan Connoisseur No.151C, Yokohama Advan AVS Model T5, Volk GTF, Volk GTS, Volk GTM, Volk GT-7, SF-Challenge & Winning, Maybe a Lorezno 18"/19" and Diamo (if available in the correct offset), 5Zigen SC3000 (if it wasn't getting discontinued), Some SSR wheels like the WERFEN GT-03, Professor VF1, and MS1.. and the list goes on.
