New Wheels and tires!!

Just mounted my new TSW Snettertons 19x9.5 +20 all the way around and Eibach springs with Ichiba 20mm spacers in the back. Let me just say I am really excited! I will be posting a multi-review on Wheels direct online (where I purchased package, and Amplified motorsports (got them installed)

Here are some pictures!!

Its actually lowered on Eibach springs, I didnt want to go with too much of an aggressive drop because I have the FI exhaust and lots of speed bumps around me! Thank you!

Looks good! I love my new TSW's and I thought about the Snettertons' before I settled on the Nurburgrings. I agree that Chris at Wheelsdirect is an outstanding vendor. You have finally made my mind up about the Eibach springs. I have been debating on which springs to get and your pictures have decided it for me. Now all I need is the spare cash. How much did it cost to have the springs installed and have you had an alignment yet?

I got my springs purchased with install for $360 otd at Amplified Motorsports. Glad I could help AZ, your car looks perfectly ready for a drop! Loving the new wheels!

I love the end result, I wish it was lower, but AT LEAST you lowered it a tad which some dont even do. I bet the car must feel so much more planted now with the wider wheels. THe rings are on their way so you know, first thing I did this morning.

AZ!!!, He is the man, Yes AZ I have made a couple of jokes about you and not having a drop haha. AZ with your backround though, dont you think you can install them yourself. You are miata king in racing, so I would think this would be a breeze for you.

I wish it was lower too, but you cant have your cake and eat it too, unless I want my cake(Exhaust) scraped all over Socal. I will eventually go with another exhaust choice and drop it like its hot on coils. Plus they said it will settle a little bit lower than its current stance. Yes the car feels much more planted to the ground, and I can def tell the difference in the stiffness of the suspension. Chris, I cannot put into words how helpful and understanding you were, especially when I was having second thoughts about my choice. Cant thank you enough! Looking forward to getting those rings! Everyone that needs wheels and tires, if you go anywhere else besides Wheelsdirectonline.com, your only shafting yourself! More to come in the review!

Hey Chris,

I am just getting to old for that stuff! If I had a lift in my garage I would do it myself, but It's just easier to have a good shop do it. I did most of the mod's to my MS Miata and loved it. I was just a little younger and more limber then. It sucks gettin' old, but I will NEVER drive an "old guys" car!

Jeffblue 10-01-2010 02:22 PM

it helps that you can lift up the miata with your own strength :)

Classy wheels.

My first set of wheels were TSW's and they are good quality wheels for daily driving.

^^ I was second guessing myself at first but I am really glad I decided to stay with them. Great buy! No regrets!
