Pictures of my Hankooks

Now that several members have helped me with posting pictures, here are some shots of my new Hankooks. 275/35 in front and 305/30 in the back with 15mm spacers up front and 20mm in the rear. Enjoy.

I give up! Tried six times to post pictues and I can't make it happen. I guess I'm just a computer idiot!

There you go. You were using the URL for the webpage instead of the image.

need a shot from straight behind! Looks good though.

Azroadster 08-21-2010 05:26 PM

Here's the behind shot. It took me most of the day and a LOT of help from a bunch of people to figure out how to post a picture. The other picture shows how much the tire sticks out from the fender with the 20mm spacer. I may install the factory splash guards, but I really don't like the looks of them very much. Enjoy.

I love it!

Well Done!

Azroadster 08-22-2010 02:38 PM

Thank you very much! I took a spin on my favorite mountain twisties this morning and I must say that these tires are great! The car feels very neutral and has tons of grip. I am very happy!

Boost_lee 08-22-2010 02:51 PM

looks great! Do you think the tires will clear the fenders with another 5mm of spacer on the back?

Azroadster 08-22-2010 04:45 PM

I think they would clear fine with 25mm spacers. I have not lowered my car, so I can't say if there would be any issues with a combination of 25mm spacers and lowering srings or coilovers. I am very pleased with the way the larger tires and spacers filled the openings. I was originally thinking of lowering her a little, but I scrape sometime at the stock height so I think I will leave things be for now. Of course, I know how I am and I am sure that I won't be able to help myself eventually.:icon17:

Nice, I think I'll switch to that tire setup when I burn through my current set of V12's.

ClemsonWill 08-23-2010 07:21 AM

Looks great. I think wider tires and some spacers are the best thing you can do to a stock car.

What is next on your list?

Azroadster 08-23-2010 08:10 AM

I will be ordering the Stillen CBE in a few weeks when my work bonus comes in. I was thinking about the Fast Intentions system but I am afraid of damaging the low hanging mufflers. After that, some sways, a back-up camera for my in dash GPS, some new speakers..... It just goes on and on.
