My choice on the PG in no specific order would be the polish, anthracite, and matte black. The wheels would pop a lot more with the first 2. With the 3rd they would be a lot more understated. Good luck!

Photoshop it and see how you like each one!

res0zsfa 08-06-2010 06:12 AM

They look very good.

From the looks of your Z (no spoiler for example) I'm assuming you don't have the sport package, right..??

I was wondering how did the 19x9.5" +22 fit the fronts and then I noticed...

I want this exact setup but the fronts in +22 won't fit the factory Akebono's and I'm afraid +12 will be too aggressive...

EDIT: Also, a couple of things.. I assume you lowered your Z..?? What did you use..?? Springs? Coils? What tire sizes are you using? Thanks.. hehe..

John@Z1 08-06-2010 08:41 AM

Looking good man.

Yeah i do not have the sport package and i am lowered. I have the Eibach pro kit and my tire sizes are 255/35/19 F and 305/30/19 R

I think I should have read the post I quoted from you, tire sizes were there.. Sorry about that.. hehe..

Did you get the camber kits for front and/or rear..??

^^^ I think one of our vendors who sells these these is including free 5mm spacers for us sport package owners

ATL_Red_G35 08-06-2010 12:39 PM

They look good on your car OP.

I'm glad that many of the 370z owners are very open minded and not bashing Varrstoen.

XLR8SN 08-06-2010 12:50 PM

Cant really bash them. It is what it is. As long as the owner just is up and up with/about it, no problems really. At least not in my opinion.

If the quality is good enough for the street and light track usage, then all the more power to these owners.

For replicas, they do look pretty good though.

Now just don't go sticking on "Volk" stickers on these and all. :p

To the OP....cool set. For the cost....I would agree with you. Cant really go wrong, plus you said it as it was...replicas from the get go. I can respect that.

That's correct. We called Varrstoen who confirmed that the 19x9.5 +22 front wheels were not able to clear the Akebono/Sport Package calipers without a 5mm spacer, so we will be including these free of charge to those ordering.

I wish people were more open to your opinions.

When you buy Volk, you buy the quality and strength that comes from the forged monoblock design. Unfortunately not everyone can afford paying $3500+ for a set of wheels, and that's why these are a great alternative. You're basically paying for the look of the design.

Wheels are like girls handbags. Granted depending on the usage you cant use a "cheap" wheel on the track then complain that they are "crap" because they broke. But for the most of us...they are like handbags. Its all about the look and the brand names. So I think that as long as the wheel performs as good as OEM or even slightly better...then all is good. The design, offsets, tire sizes, tire appearance (stretched or fat), etc...are all up to the tastes of the owner. They see their car everyday.

If vendors can keep the costs fair to the general public, then that would make everyone happy too.

I do actually have TE-37's, but I dont have kids to worry about. So I can respect the OP's choice in getting these and taking care of more important priorities with the cash saved. Food always ranks up there for me. :icon17:

Clean looking wheels for the price. Great alternative.

NewlyIMPORTed 08-06-2010 07:59 PM

thanks guys! yeah I loved the look of the Te's and I was originally going to get them but other things are more important. but like XLR said I would never try to say these are true volks because that pride should be held only by those who actually have them. i just like the look and found a great replica to suffice my want.
