Tire Maintenance Warning??

I'm sure the answer to this question is somewhere on this forum however I can't find it...lol

My car has 7,500 miles on it and the tire maintenance warning just came on? The tires look fine, I don't see any nails, and the tread is still good...does this light come on when the tire pressure decreases? Does anyone know what else might cause this warning to come on?

Thanks,

Richard

Yep the TPMS light will come on if your tire(s) drop below 35PSI. So fill them back up to the proper level and after about 15 miles or so it will reset itself

what if all I did was jack up the side of the car with the factory jack so I could see how much of a pain in the *** it is. put car back down and tire light was on.

Just reset the tire maint. warning? set to the next higher interval check up? or push it out to 100k, and not worry about that warning till then, but please check your air and inspect your tire regularly.
