Hankook Ventus RS-3

Just wondering if anybody is running these tires? From what I've read everything suggest that the Ventus V12 are a great street tire. These supposedly step up the performance a bit.

I have them on my Prius, they are good daily driving tires, reasonable traction. They didn't do so hot at the track or autox, the sideway is too soft and it heats up too quickly.

The RS-3 is a spectacular tire and one of, if not the best, "street" tire you can currently buy. They handle heat extremely well and are very grippy. No 19" sizes though.

Actually I've priced a 305/30/19. A set will run me about $640. However they don't make a size to fit my front wheels so I'll prolly just go with the Ventus V12

Why are you tracking a prius, no matter what type of tires you have? :icon18:

I've been running RS-3s on my C63 for a while now. Currently on my third set :) They're amazing tires, very comparable to the AD07s and even the AD08s in the dry. They handle great on the track since they're easy to read and if you do start to slip it's super controllable and correctable. Daily treadwear is decent as well.

Overall a very good alternative to AD08s if you don't want to spend the extra cheddar. But if you don't mind spending the money, I'd still recommend getting the Advans.

I have one more FTD in that car than my 370 as of today, the car serves its purpose.
