Move your seat forward :icon17:

6'5" here, same problem. Noone's found an aftermarket extension then? I'd love the inch back too!
Right now I've got my seet forward about 3 notches from the rear most position. Just where my knee is not touching the steering wheel. The seat is leaned forward a bit more than I would like but still relatively comfortable. Tilt is at or close to it's lowest position. |
Any telescoping options yet? The steering wheel is made so tiny people can reach. Us tall people have to sacrifice leg room in order to be comfy

6'6" 275...seat back,steering wheel lowered all the way...PERFECT!

6'7", 240lbs and my pants are a 36" in seam... and yet I click my seat one notch forward, with still plenty of room for my legs. I also lean the backrest a bit more forward so it makes me sit more vertical... comfy position.
I wish there was a solution for the steering wheel to move closer to me but I've been able to adjust my seat in such a position where I am comfy but don't have to have my arms stretched. It took a day or two to get used to sitting like that, but it's fantastic now that I'm used to it. Ended up doing the same in my DD. I used to always bottom out the sliding rail, but now I move it forward and sit more vertically... it has helped my Rev matching skills big time (i dont use that annoying synchro Rev system... I do it myself!) |
funny u say that about the rev match.
i can do it myself perfectly but it was still one of my favorite features. whatever car i get next will have to have it. i think the new 2016 zo6 corvettes have it too |
Who makes these steering wheel adapter/extenders maybe we could approach one of them with a GB offer to make one for the OEM wheel/flat bottom oem wheel?
