Shouldn't you have asked this question before you bought?

theDreamer 04-22-2010 01:08 PM

Unknown, how wide are the wheels & what are the offsets?

m4a1mustang 04-22-2010 01:15 PM

Those wheels on a blue car? hmmm...

DakillaZ 04-22-2010 01:53 PM

they are 8.5 inch front
10inch rear.... wheels are here waiting for the car to come back from the body shop 2morrow i had them do flat blk doorhandles rear, diffuser, and mirriors.. it will look meann with the wheels :)

m4a1mustang 04-22-2010 01:55 PM

In for pics. That's an interesting style wheel for this car to say the least. They are also narrow for a 20" diameter.

The tires should be ok, I really dont think this is a car that will benefit from a Luxo brand like Lexani, but will see when you get them right? I hope you got the right offsets, b/c the widths arent the most ideal for this car.

DakillaZ 04-22-2010 02:45 PM

when you say offsett ....you mean spacers?

fuct 04-22-2010 02:59 PM

hmm i dont see this fitment coming out to swell. good luck with em though!

m4a1mustang 04-22-2010 03:10 PM

Hmmm, yeah, I'm not so sure those are going to look good on this car.

Hey Dakillaz I started off with some Lexani Lx15 and they just did not look right on my car. I ended up buying some different wheels. The Lx15 were not offered in different offsets. I ended up having to get 5mm spacers for the front, so the brake calipers would clear, and Hubcentric 20mm spacers for the rear. See what I mean

DakillaZ 04-23-2010 10:36 AM

i got a super deaal on the wheels very excited to put them on ...if they do look akward ill have no problem sellling them for twice the price i got them for so i got nothing to losee :))

cbutler 04-23-2010 10:46 AM

I guess you have nothing to loose like you said. I would check on the offsets though cause you wont be able to drive it if you don't have spacers atleast for the front when you put them on.

370zdub 04-23-2010 12:18 PM

wow, lexani wheels on a z=fail imo.

Cbutler the vossens are a much better look for your car, but why not in black?

cbutler 04-23-2010 12:39 PM

370zDub...I really like the contrast of the silver wheels or chrome against the black car. I have never been a fan of a black cars with black wheels or Volks. IMO I wanted something different from everybody else

370zdub 04-23-2010 12:49 PM

I do think the contrast set up with your wheels looks great and offsets the handles perfectly, I'm a big fan of my volks though.

cbutler 04-23-2010 01:11 PM

I appreciate it 370zDub.

I agree to each their own, and I think his car turned out great with the vossens in the color that he did, not only is it original and unique but it looks great too. I only have one bias against these type of wheels and that is the fact that they are heavier, no that does not make them bad in any way shape or form, but for what I wanted for my purposes I needed a light weight wheel. You guys may not need a light weight wheel and therefore your options are more broad. To each their own :tiphat:

DakillaZ 04-25-2010 11:47 AM

thank you sir..

m4a1mustang 04-25-2010 12:40 PM

Fitment doesn't look bad at all. I think that style is more suited to non-sports cars, but as long as you like it!

Snakebite202 04-25-2010 01:34 PM

Wow, you got away with one there on the fitment (not knowing what offset they were and all). Not my style, but they don't look bad. In for bigger pics...lol

cbutler 04-25-2010 06:56 PM

Looks Good!

Chris_1 04-26-2010 09:51 AM

Again not a fan of the style, but at least the fitment came out good. Did they give you offsets at all, would love to know what they put with the 8.5, I am going to assume in the teens or minimum a +20 to get that.
