Sorry for the delay, here are my tires installed. Rear 325/30, 19" Michelin Pilot Super Sport and 275/35, 19". At first I took off spacers but decided to put them back on. 25mm rear and 15mm front. Sprint spring lowered, no rubbing, great ride and cornering in amazing. Love the stances and set up.

I've refrained from posting here while scouring to see if I could see an example.

I'm eyeing Rohana RF2 in 20x11 and 20x12 (both have ET28); while the rear is not a problem, the 20x11 in the front might. I'm not planning to run very wide tires, so the wheel will still be wider than the tire. After calculating some numbers, I got acceptable results for poke and backspacing.

What I'm pondering is the lateral clearance (plenty of radial clearance) with the Akebono caliper. The spoke profile seems to provide enough laterla clearance yet Rohana representative didn't think so. Has anyone tried this?

Thank you for the help.

:gtfo2: no hellaflush talk here.

I'm not talking about hellaflush. I'm merely looking for lateral clearance information for a certain wheel against the Akebono caliper.

Performance is great. The original owned powder coated to stock sport rims. I really look the clean, muscular look.

I'd have to imagine a 325 on a 10" wide wheel would feel sloppy under aggressive driving conditions. Probably fine for everyday use though.

Cosmis Racing Xt-006R

18×9.5 +10mm 5×114.3

18×11 +8mm 5×114.3

Any fender work really needed?

chrischhorn 04-24-2015 04:58 PM

Depending on tire size and camber but either way most likely at least a roll. Sport or base brakes? Those may not clear sport brakes on front without a spacer

20x11 +12 rear with 285/35

Good afternoon guys... I need some help... Im about to buy a new set of wheels... Im thinking on buy the Gram Lights 57DR in 18x9.5+22 & 18x10.5+22... my question is... The offset of +22 will clear my Akebono's sport brakes with out using spacers?

Thanks!

front: 20 x 9 +20 rear: 20 x 10.5 +15

front: 275/40/20 rear: 295/40/20

Will that fit with stock everything?

magic 8ball says no way.

GTR wheels with stock tires 255/40r20 Front and 285/35r20 will fill your stock height wheel wells to the brim.

The concern would be overall diameter:
Front:
Stock = 26.7"
GTR = 28"
275/40/20 = 28.6"

Rear:
Stock = 26.8"
GTR = 27.8"
295/40r20 = 29.3"

You are talking about adding roughly 2 inches to the front and 2.5 to the rear diameters. I would suspect you'd get rubbing all the time. Not to mention it might make your car look a bit raised, without the ability to lower it (given the huge diameter).

My advice, stay away from this setup, and wait til something comes along that fits or swap the tires off the wheels.

You sure they are 35 in the rear and not 30? I only ask because I am looking at running about the same size maybe a little bigger on the tires. Thanks!

Thanks AntiVenom. Would 255/35 285/30 run without any rubbing?? Appreciate the help man!
