These wheels are Lexani Lx15 wheels. I am not sure if I am really like the way they look on my car. I would appreciate and feedback from you guys on what you think. Fronts 245/35/20 Rear 295/30/20

NewlyIMPORTed 03-30-2010 12:42 PM

i think the stock nismo wheels look a lot better but these dont look that bad i just wouldn't put them on the Z

batman_4 03-30-2010 12:44 PM

not feeling them....especially on a nismo version.

phelan 03-30-2010 12:47 PM

eh...not on the 370Z.

FuszNissan 03-30-2010 12:48 PM

I would powder coat the nismo wheels first.

fatcat777 03-30-2010 12:50 PM

not my style.

vipor 03-30-2010 01:36 PM

Are you able to take them back or something?

Not my style. I like the thought of PCing the stock wheels.

Those Lexani's HAVE to weigh more than the stock Rays...

Jamaica 03-30-2010 01:55 PM

not bad but no ugly. it may look better in silver.

RCZ 03-30-2010 02:01 PM

pretty awful, sell.

Chris@FsP 03-30-2010 02:10 PM

Badly needs a drop.

cbutler 03-30-2010 05:01 PM

I appreciate the comments. I just needed some confirmation of what i already knew. Any suggestions of what you think would look good on a nismo?

factory nismo wheels powdercoated, or grab a set of volks

bullitt5897 03-31-2010 11:19 AM

Work, Venaci, Volks, I forged, Jline, HRE, ADV.1, Strasse Forged, and the list goes on....

Size wise try to get close to these offsets as much as possible:

Fronts:
19/20 x 9.5 +15
19/20 x 10 +22

Rears:
19/20 x 11 +0

Typical volk lowest offsets:
19/20 x 10.5 +12
19/20 x 10 +12

I know you love those offsets and the aggressive fitment for your car, but for daily drivers the offsets won't be near that if they want a comfortable ride. add about 10 to the front and 15-20 for the rear.

I'm running 19x9 +24 in front and 19x11 +24 in back with ~2 degrees of camber all the way around and I wouldn't go any more in the front and no more than another 5mm out in the back.

:iagree:

bullitt5897 03-31-2010 11:45 AM

The only reason mine are so aggressive is due to the fact of BBK face on mine causing me to run -3 camber rear and I still hold stock camber of -1.8 in the front. Running a normal face wheel would require less camber. Kevr runs less camber than me and has the same offsets. He also has a larger deep dish then me as well.

bullitt5897 03-31-2010 11:49 AM

There is so much more to picking out the Perfect right size then just width and offset.

What we are giving you are guidelines to the possibilities... and simply just recommendations.

For custom wheels and perfect offsets there is much more that goes into it than width and offsets.

Chris_1 03-31-2010 12:26 PM

We just joined, but I am not a fan. Lexani is just not a brand for these types of vehicles. We sell Dpe, Jline, Axiom Forged, and Volk for these types of cars. We have customers ask for this stuff, and we always try to convince otherwise, b/c it just never looks right.

x10 for sure. Those wheels cheapen the car right now.

cbutler 04-03-2010 09:33 PM

What do you guys think of these wheels on my Nismo?

Vossen VVS082 Wheels on Mercedes Benz E Class]

ZPirate 04-04-2010 07:14 AM

Those wheels look ok on a Mercedes, but I don't think they would look very good on a 370Z. They are too busy looking for my tastes.

Zigen5 04-04-2010 07:55 AM

Ugh... Not feeling it... The star look is not for our cars, I would go for Volk or Rays. You can't go wrong! I don't think you need to drop your car. If you do, you'll invest in more money and problems...

SE 04-04-2010 04:43 PM

For the love of god, please sell them/get rid of them. Go with something like TE37/RE30 if you like forged wheels, but since it seems like you want something with lip/bling, go with Work VSXX/KF or Meister. SSR SP3 looks great on 370Z also.

m4a1mustang 04-04-2010 04:45 PM

Definitely need to go. The stock Rays are much, much, much nicer. I agree with those saying that that brand (and others like it) don't work with this car.

mrsleepy1225 04-04-2010 04:50 PM

Ah.. looks so ghetto, even though they probably costs alot. I'd rather see base stock wheels on your ride.
