35th anniversary wheels

I am always on the lookout for a good set of wheels for next winter. I was thinking of getting a used set of 35th anniversary touring 350z wheels:

I want something that isn't too wide (for snow tires), and these are only 8.5 in the back and 8.0 up front. They seem to be the perfect candidate. However, since they are narrower, will i need spacers in order for them to come as close to the fenders as the 19"rays on the sport package do (without spacers). I want something narrow enough for good snow traction but not tucked in under the fenders.

Thanks!

Just did the calculation on 1010tires.com. According to the calculator these would stick out 4mm more in the front and the rears would RETRACT by 22mm. So i guess i would need spacers for just the rears to run these wheels? or would a 22mm retraction from stock sport wheel clearance not look that bad?

35th Anniversary:
Front
Size: 18x8.0
Offset: +30mm

Rear
Size: 18x8.5
Offset: +33mm

Sport:
19x9 +47 front, 19x10 +30 rear

Those are the numbers i used^^

too bad you gotta drive your baby in the winter, and the 35th anniversary looks too good for winter rims lol

Well i want whatever rims i get to look too good to be winter rims! They are my 2nd favorite Z rims to the Sport Package 19"s.

aren't those base 350z wheels? i have the exact same wheels from my friends 350z. they are just sitting in my garage. mite sell them.

They were touring when they first came out in '05 i believe, then they became standard on the base 350. You are in SF? so a sale b/w you and i would probably involve shipping/PIA. could you PM me what you'd be charging if you were to sell them. I'd only need the rims b/c theyd be getting blizzaks. This would be a big if b/c of distance and how far off next winter is . neverthless, whenever you think of a price, pm me. thx

so would running the rears without spacers look very tucked in?

kevin.z 03-17-2010 01:12 AM

on a altima or 350z or 370z? on the 370 the 350z wheels look tucked in, kinda sunk actually. rim condition is about 7 or 6.5/10. i am probably gonna sell them $100 a wheel with tires on it. let me know. PM me.
