18" Nismo LMGT4s on black 370Z

They did fit without hitting the calipers, but they look undersized and I wish they stuck out more in the back, would probably look better if the car were lowered about 1 inch. I believe I will probably go with 19's on there, just not sure what wheels to get yet.

Now I am a lazy person. I did not put all four on there, just two to see what it would look like, so the 19s are still on the other side. But at least I know they will fit. I will probably be selling these Nismos with Michelin tires in the near future.

I think it looks good. A drop would make it perfect. Noice whip!:driving:

:excited: Well done - Nice pics - now I know my 19's will look fine if ever I get a 370!

par4bmw 01-27-2009 12:56 PM

Thanks for taking the time to mount and take pics. Like the look of the Nismos a lot, especially on black. Really pulls together the other trim (handles, Z, etc) and flows with the 260ish feel. I would stick with 19 or drop to look perfect.

Slidefox 01-27-2009 02:09 PM

It's going to be hard to make an 18" wheel look good on a 370...

dlmartin81 01-27-2009 07:14 PM

I'm not feelin the 18s on the new Z. Way to small imo.

batman_4 01-27-2009 07:18 PM

what are the specs(width) on your nismo wheels?

Crash 01-27-2009 08:13 PM

They look really nice, but I'd rather have 19's. If they made those in 19", I'd have them in a heart beat.

batman_4 01-27-2009 09:40 PM

^ they do, offsets are a bit weak though on the US version

nogoodname 01-27-2009 11:01 PM

looks good...nice contrast with the black Z on silver rims

Crash 01-27-2009 11:15 PM

Any ideas on the weights for the 18's and 19's?

MC 01-28-2009 02:04 AM

i had both 18's and 19's if i remember correctly ....it was about 18lbs for the 18 and 22 for the 19's rears were a about half a pound heavier on each due to the width

SB350z 01-28-2009 02:37 AM

looks really nice.

The fronts are 18x8.5 and the rears are 18x9.5, so they are actually a half inch narrower than the stock rims on the 370. Not sure of the offsets but it appeared the fronts stuck out a little more than stock and the rears stuck out less. I figured they would not look right, but wanted to see what they did look like. I like the NISMOs and would like a black set in 19's with the right offsets so the backs look right.

Heres what they looked like on my 350Z.

not sure about the size of these lmgt4's i think 19 either way concave face comes on the 9.5 in wide and wider. so these are anwhere from +30 offset up to +12

Sorry, but the black wheels on that red Z don't look like LMGT4's to me - They're too concave at the front. I think they're Rota's, a cheap copy of the Nismo. If they are, they'll be 18's.

Here are LMGT4's in 19" on my Z (9.5" front, 10.5" rear - offsets are 25 & 30, I think)...

...and I think people are right - the 370Z wheel arch looks too big for 18's, to my eye. I'm thinking 20" might be the way to go.

...by the way, the 19's are really light.

Crash 01-28-2009 05:13 PM

Hrmm... I really like the looks... I may have to get me a set.

Got mine imported to England from America (Ebay) - sold for a very good price by Mark Brinster at a Nissan dealership in Virginia Beach, I think. They worked out at half the price charged by Nissan dealers in England. I think they're a classic wheel for the Z car. Some of the Volks are nice too :yum:

TerribleONE 01-29-2009 05:02 AM

looks nice... but 18s are definitely to small.. 19s are a must.. but il probably be going with 20s.

I agree, the NISMOs are a perfect look for the 350Z/370Z. I wish I had a set of 19s to try on there and see how they look.

Crash 01-29-2009 09:03 PM

I'll probably buy a set for the track. I'll still drive on the stock 19's for day to day use.
