should I sandblast the stock rims before powdercoating? cuz I checked a couple of places some say to sandblast other say not to.. that its not necessary.

wetsanding is good enough. Are you doing them yourself? If not, let the shop decide. If there are any problems in the future, they should cover it. I know that I give a lifetime warranty if something I coat fails.

I bought a brand new set of painted wheels for my corvette to use for track wheels. I powdercoated them with zero prep, other than wiping down with alcohol. I would never do that on a customers wheel, but I like to test things with my stuff.

Through 3 sets of tires, changed out at dealership, and at least 15 track weekends, the coating is holding up perfectly.

You sir, get a rep!

My calipers that you coated back in 2004 are still in great shape. Even the vinyls are still on there.

Thanks!!!!! I thought I recognize your name! However, after 4 and a half years and over 1100 sets of calipers, things get fuzzy sometimes in my mind! Blue with white letters?
