BBS LM on Yellow 370Z

I decided to do something different than the flat black on yellow. So for those of you with yellow Zs who want to see something a little different, here ya go. I decided to go with 20" BBS LMs because I found a stupid good deal on these wheels.

Here are a couple of pictures for now. I have some wheel spacers coming in to push out the rears a little more. I'll post up more pics of the finished package.

Looks like your exposure was through the roof. Too bright and washed out.

Stunning!
That is a clean z right there!

chuckd05 02-15-2010 11:58 AM

very nice... very clean. good offsets too

RCZ 02-15-2010 12:46 PM

verr nice. Very sexy wheels.

tinysumo 02-15-2010 01:04 PM

Wheels look real good. Havn't seen too many BBS' on z's. What size spacers did you end up getting? I remember reading your post on my thread and now I get to see pics of your setup haha. Also what size tires you on?

Nitex 02-15-2010 01:15 PM

Looks great! I am partial to BBS wheels, and personally feel the black wheel thing is getting a bit old. Of course now that ive said this ill most likely end up with black wheels.. having a hard time making up my mind on what looks best on PG!

I agree with vipor but I'm a camera snob and use my Nikon SLR when I'm posting pics. However sometimes i only have my point and shoot with me and its nice to capture the moment while not carrying around a monster camera.

Thanks for the compliement!

For the rears i'm gonna go with a 20mm spacer. I might even go with a 15mm spacer in the front.

Right now the tires are 295/25 rear and 265/25 front. I'm thinking about going slightly wider in the back with 305, but i'm going to wait till these tires are worn out.

I wish I had the skill and a nice SLP camera lol. These were taken late at night with my gfs cannon point and shoot. I run a DJ/wedding business on the side, so I'm gonna have one of my camera men take better pictures for me lol.

Good luck with your wheel choice. The only thing I found that matters is that you like whats on your car. You're the one that has to drive it, so go with what best fits you. I went with these rims because of the awesome deal I got them for, and I've always had a thing for LMs lol.

Nitex 02-15-2010 01:46 PM

Definitely! anyways great choice, i think LMs look amazing on the 370z.

jmlenz 02-15-2010 03:03 PM

Looks great man! I love the LMs!

Please get spacers to bring those flush...and then maybe some coilovers to close that gap

OMGWTFBBQ 02-16-2010 12:29 AM

I'm surprised nobody has asked this already, but I might have missed it. What are the sizes/offsets for those wheels? If you don't mind revealing them.

The fronts are 20x9.5, +40 and the rears a 20x10.5, +20.

RedComet 02-16-2010 06:50 AM

Looks good my friend. Always good to see people try something different, and who doesn't love BBS LMs lol.

Snakebite202 02-16-2010 10:25 AM

Need bigger tires too...looks good though

Are you sure about the rears? Some people (including myself) have a 10.5 +22 in the rear and its ALOT closer to the fender then yours. From the pictures the rears look like +33 and up offset in the back. Almost where OEM sit.

Also, I think I remember getting quotes on those wheels and I never bought them because I could never find the correct offsets - they were always to high.

I do love those wheels tho!

Westwood 02-16-2010 10:56 PM

is it me or i think they would look better in Black? more aggressive look?

Actually you're right... The rears are +30 in the back which is why they're not sitting flush. I had to confirm with the shop I got the wheels from. I have some spacer en route to fix the gap, I'll be sure to post up pics when they're installed.

DannyGT 02-17-2010 10:54 AM

With the rears flush, that setup is going to look sick!

Reminds me of Phoenix Power's 370z.

GT Motoring 02-17-2010 11:44 AM

Hmm thats definately not the recomended BBS fitment. did your wheels have the antislip coating on the inside where the tire seats?

It should be the same spec as the GTR actually

20x10.5 +20
20x9.5 +40

GT Motoring is an authorized BBS distributor, so if you guys have any questions on fitment, feel free to hit us up. We have these LMs in silve and gunmetal too! LOVED them on my R35 GTR :)

Who actually goes with the "recommended" setups? I know I don't. ;)

haha, true. well WE like this fitment too. Its not tire stretchin drift car spec, but a safe yet good fitment if you follow our spec. Any shop that sold him anything LESS agressive than the manufacturer of the wheel suggests i would question their know how a little :(

OMGWTFBBQ 02-17-2010 02:07 PM

Either way, 20" BBS LM's. I took a look at their price tag. Dang! That's a hard number to swallow.

Yah, its definitely not the recommended offsets, but for the price that I got the rims at, it really was a steal. Nothing a set of hubcentric spacers can't fix.

dszombiex 02-17-2010 05:52 PM

I like it. Looks clean.

speedworks 02-17-2010 06:39 PM

I like the look, but it definately needs some spacers to acheive the right offset. What was the rockin deal? Any others available?

The deal was all four rims for half the price of brand new ones, the catch was they were slightly used. The shop is local to socal, so if you want the contact info, PM me :tiphat:

travisjb 02-17-2010 09:49 PM

Looks great, I love BBS wheels... comment was made already but I agree that the tires look a shade too small for the wheels... what are the sizes front and rear ?

lemansz20 02-18-2010 09:49 AM

Just not a fan, This Z has so many curves that an extremely flat faced wheel like that to ME, doesnt do it. I dont think it looks bad, just doesnt flow with the car to me. Kudos for being different though, still great wheels without a doubt.

ezowner 07-22-2010 11:37 PM

Totally Agree.

vividracing 07-23-2010 12:35 AM

I love the look of the BBS LMs. Great choice in rims. The Z is looking good!

Waiz 07-23-2010 06:35 PM

OP, post new pics with spacers installed por favor!!

Snakebite202 07-25-2010 02:42 PM

Yes please! :)

Mike 07-25-2010 02:45 PM

I like em!
