Thanks M.J. Your G2s look good as well.

BTW thanks for your help the other day with my wheel mounting issue. :tiphat:

phelan 02-21-2010 05:18 PM

On my setup (see first page)

Tires:
Hankook Ventus V12 @ 255/35/19 front, 295/30/19 rear

Wheels:
Volk CE28N "Genesis" @ 19x9.5+22 and 19x10.5+22

I will probably be putting a 10mm spacer in the rear soon.

I'm running the exact same tires and sizes on my G2s.

I was surprised that the combo actually lowers the car as much as it does. I am now scraping my lower front Sport Package spoiler in places that it didn't touch at all.

RE30 in Machine Black

bullitt5897 02-23-2010 11:44 AM

is it just me or do 19's look tiny on our cars!?!? I mean to me it looks like a set of 17's or 18's on a 350z... they dont proportionately fill in the wheel wells...

FuszNissan 02-23-2010 02:08 PM

Just opened my box of RE30's in hyper bronze, damn that color is amazing. Looks so good in person. Pictures don't do it justice.

austex 02-23-2010 02:26 PM

can't wait to see those bad boys!

I'm seriously considering some of these on my magnetic black...

Lou, What color car are you putting them on?

ZPirate 02-23-2010 02:44 PM

BTW I added Rays gun metal short lug nuts to my Formula Silver G2s on Sunday. They look really good with the Formula Silver. I'll have to take some pictures and post them.

CrownR426 02-27-2010 08:58 PM

how'd you do that?!

KEVTEX 02-27-2010 09:46 PM

Shot taken from another car moving at the same speed with enough shutter duration to blur the wheel spokes?

AutoX Z 02-27-2010 09:52 PM

More likely its from a frame mounted to the car that's later photoshopped out.

zman1910 02-27-2010 10:29 PM

Stunning photo u got there......

Those look really good as well but if my memory serves me correct aren't those "TE"-37's? In my experience with VOLK "LE's" always had a polished or diamond cut lip with a colored center. Yours are all one color so I'd think they are TE's. Either way like I said...nice

The TE37's looks great, but needs a bit if a drop to close the gap and tighten everything up. The TE37 is one of my all time favorite wheels ever, and looks terrific on the 370Z. :)

htt760 02-28-2010 10:27 PM

Yeah, they were powdercoated from LE's .... Use to have polished lips...

as for the drop Shariff.. still working on the coilovers... has eibachs but nothing aggressive

Yeah, I thought I detected a hit of lowering and now that you mentioned the Eibach's it makes sense. The Eibachs have a pretty mild drop to them.

the camera is mounted to a rig setup that is attached to the car so that the camera and car move at the same speed. camera is then set on lowest ISO and smallest aperture (usually in combo with a circular polarizer or neutral density filter to kill a bunch of light) to make the shutter speed as long as possible, in this case 6 seconds iirc, then push the car from out of sight, in this case it was me pushing on the back driver corner, this creates the illusion of the high speed. the longer the shutter speed, the more sense of motion is transfered in the picture. since i am blocked from flickr here at work i can't post it but there's a video shows how we did this shot, it's pretty lulz too

HKYStormFront 03-01-2010 03:59 PM
