Dope or Nope?
Ok car fashionistas. I want to make my black 370z stand out and look cool.
My plan is to install a set of BC Forged HB04's in the colour scheme seen here on this white R35. https://www.bcforged-na.com/project/...gt-r-21-hc040/ Mine won't have the step lip, so the inner gold ring will be larger, and my concavity will look much deeper like these http://www.the370z.com/parts-sale-pr...e-concave.html Try to imagine what the gold inner with gloss black outer will look like on a black 370z and give me a dope or a nope in the poll. Not really my style, so I can't vote Dope. But they look pretty good, so I can't vote Nope.
In the end, it doesn't matter what other people think. Do you like them? Do you want them on your car? |

Well I think they will look nice, but I have no way of seeing them on the car without forking over the dosh. :ugh: Thanks for your feedback though. |
not a fan of black lip, colored spokes, especially on a black car
the lip/tire/body will all just be a dark blob i'd go all gold but at the end of the day if you have good sizing and stance, it'll be better than some crappy battleship |

Using some extremely poor paint skills I have tried to simulate what it will look like.

There is a thread to request photoshops of different items on Zs. The site's search function is pretty crappy IMNSHO - go to one of the web searches and add "site:the370z.com" to your search string. Eg, photoshop request site:the370z.com |
Of course,we all have opinions based on our personal likes...
The gold is terrible.IMO-may make the car stand out,but makes it look cheap. Many years ago,I bought a new car(Audi).Had BBS wheels put on it.The mesh style was the rage.It was either silver or gold. I choose gold since it appeared to "blend" with the car. Looked good for a few weeks. Then like the special "car show" colors, I wish I'd have chosen the silver. |

Went to the website you posted & looked at different setups :ugh2:
I’m partial to the red centered wheels :tiphat: Anything they sell looks very nice, appear to be quality wheels :iagree: These are 19x10/11.5 w/275/35,325/30’s :yum: |
A little to flashy for my tastes (says the guy driving the red 370Z), but, of the choices, I like the gold lip with the black spokes better. But that's just my opinion, and I could be wrong.

Try using bronze instead of gold.
IMO-bronze is a bit understated and will give your black car a richer look. |
The black spokes with the gold lip = WINNING!!!!!!!
|
Because you want the Z to stand out, the gold spokes work for me. It's a muted gold, imho it blings without shouting "look at me"
|
Meh.
Gold lip black spokes look better than the inverse. |
i think rays wheels has some of the best looking wheels for the z

Thanks for all the comments guys. In the end I just couldn't pull the trigger on the gold.
I ordered the HCA381 instead and BC forged has just sent me a photo of the finished wheels |

What color is that? Brushed Black or Dark Brushed Black?
Those wheels look really nice - mind me asking what a set ran? |

That was one of the best deals I could find for a 2 piece forged wheel that weighs the same as the stock wheels, but with more bling. Specs: 19 x 9.5 +22 19 x 10.5 +12 Gloss black barrel Gloss gunmetal center Visible titanium hardware You can see what they look like on this jag here, but mine have more concave. https://www.bcforged-na.com/project/...-r-20-hca381s/ In 2 weeks I will show you what they look like on a black Z. |
