And this is why I take my wheels off the car myself, remove all wheel weights (with a plastic panel tool and rubbing alcohol - NOT A FUCKIN CHISEL!!), and drive the wheels over to the tire place in another vehicle. Also, make sure tires are mounted properly if they are directional and/or asymmetrical before heading home.

What really gets me is that my Z is seriously modded and I have always waited in the shop while work was being done... so the dumbass tech should have realized this is someone who is going to notice if a flathead screwdriver and rubber mallet were used on the weights. That and the fact that I had detailed the wheels earlier that week and not driven since... makes ya wish for some chlorine for the gene pool.

Got the wheels back... they look brand spanking new! Firestone even painted the wheel weights to match the wheelhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...752596edcd.jpg

Looks like they were professional and took care of you. That's all you can ask for , sometimes the employees are idiots. Bet that tech is looking for a new place to work.
