Ceramic coating wheels
Does anyone have experience doing this. Is it as straight forward as this "Chemical Guys" video? It always feels like theres some critical step thats not being told. I will be applying it to brand new wheels so there should be minimal prep.
IF anyone has suggestions on what product to use and how they apply in the really had areas where the faces meat the barrels on wheels with lip, that would be much appreciated. |
I had it professionally done, figured it was better than screwing it up myself.
If you have nice wheels, its probably worth the investment. Makes cleaning so much easier |

my concern is more about hard water spots on the bronze lip. |
Looks like the newest version of their previous wheel wax that I use:
https://www.chemicalguys.com/Wheel_G...z_p/wac315.htm You want to apply it just like you would wax. Use a clean microfiber to apply it and use a seperate one to remove it after it has had a chance to dry. |

Ceramic Coated Wheels
I had my all-black Z ceramic coated with Opti-Coat Pro+, which included the glossy black wheels and the red brake calipers. The calipers really pop out from the glossy black wheels and body, while the wheels and brakes are much easier to clean. I can do a routine maintenance wash with just water most of the time if I want and only go the whole nine yards with soap and wash mitts if I want it to gleam like a showcar.
