Where did you buy your wheels from?
Hello,
My question is exactly what the title says. Not "oh I bought knockoff's" or "knockoffs are trash buy the original. Where did you buy your wheels from, where is a reputable place who has what you want? A lot of "actual" wheels have a vendor list, (forgestar for example) none of which are usually anywhere near me in Nebraska. So far I have found tirerack (sponsor here, seems reputable, sponsors AutoX events, but doesn't sell RPF1's in 18x9.5 front and 18x10.5 rear) and getyourwheels, which I have seen mention of on this site so, Where do you get your wheels? |
Candy Red F14 Forgestars (19x10/12’s w/285/35/,345/30ZR19 Nitto Invo’s) from Jason@Getyourwheels.com. & very satisfied with product & customer service before & after the sale!

Hey! I can get RPF1s and plenty of other wheels if interested.
A popular size for 18" will be 18x9.5 +15 Front / 18x10.5 +15 Rear. Those clear sport Akebonos if you have them or if you plan on upgrading later on down the road. I have Silver, Black and SBC available in stock. The front is semi-aggressive but nothing a little bit of camber can correct. Here is a pic of that setup on a 370Z: "abm89" on the forum: http://i.imgur.com/ZB3nvzLh.jpg |
I'd just like to point out Tire Rack is complete and utter trash for wheels
They don't let you sort and search for wheels by size, when I called to speak to a human they had no idea how to look up a wheel that I wanted Enkei NT03+m, SBC, 18x9.5 +27, 5x114.3. I know exactly what they want. They couldn't find it, even though it had been listed on their website before. After much haggling they found the NT03RR (newer, different wheel), but didn't realize it was different. Before I've asked them about specific Kosei K1's for my 240 back years ago, same thing. Their website is built for the casual person that only searches by vehicle and gives crap sizing that "fits" Very frustrating They're fine for tires If you want aftermarket wheels, find a vendor that carries the MFG ur lookign for thats close enough to you to answer the phone in the same time zone, but isn't in-state to charge sales tax Or go to someplace REALLY close, if possible, so you can face-to-face contact, pick up in person, etc. I don't really see the sense in ordering across the country unless they a randomly the only place the stocks something. the pricing can't be THAT different - MFGs place limits on how much they can slash prices anyways |
evasive motorsports has a lot of wheels and are a verified dealer for a lot of wheel companies

+1 on evasive. Bought multiple sets of wheels from them clear communication on wait time and cost.

Totally agree, Josh is super helpful!
I’ve bought three sets of wheels from him (2 sets for my previous WRX and 1 set [so far, lol] for the Z). Hi, my name is Mike and I’m a wheel addict. Quote:
