It has newer tech, better showcase

Also, old te37 is basically dead bc rays wants newer variants with engravings on it, harder to knock off
According to them it has something to do with the 19-inch JWL certification, it expired and it seems that they aren't really interested in investing to renew it. Probably since they have the wheel discontinued on their catalogue and even our order which was going to be 25 sets is not enough to justify that cost.

But yes ZE40's anyone? lol

Even the ZE40 isn't produced in 370z specs anymore, I tried to order half set from Japan and they told me it's discountinued. At the end, I found one wheel at Rays US stock and the other one has been special ordered through vivid.

So, I assume I have a set of a rare size and color

yup you'll have to go 18's

Luckily TE37's are still good and we actually have what seems to be the last set of OG in Bronze

Sitting on the last of 19x9.5 +22 / 19x10.5 +12 in Bronze lol

I am a fan of TE37 and wanted to go for original bronze in 18s. Ended up with ZE40 in diamond gunmetal would like to change for square 18x10 TE37 or Advan GT but cannot without selling the wheels I have which is a pain, locally nobody interested, and the shipping will be a killer to US.

Strange stuff from rays.

On a different note, their sister company Advan has 21-inch sizing for the GTR now! Too much for a Z but i need those gtr guys to stop being *******

Top wheels for the Z now are TE37 ultra and Advan gt, best quality and size options

What size ZE40 did you get? Maybe a local GTR guy can scoop them up for track?

Yeah the TE37 Ultra have great sizes for the Z. Also, they can be ordered in a ton of colors from Rays so gives the customers a choice if they want something a bit different.

not THAT much of a choice. I wanted them to eliminate the machined ring on my Ultras, they wouldn't do it.

It would be a great feature to allow customers the option to have that ring eliminated or colored, as well as to have the etched logo colored from the factory.

I have 19x9.5+22 and 19x10.5+22. 2 wheels on order, I expect to receive on December, as replacement to 2 damaged wheels, which you can see them here
AlWakRa 370z's Journal - PW from Qatar

I have decided to keep them and use after recieving the new wheels, but if there is a good deal, I may consider.

Kind of off topic, but what volks are available now in 19X9.5/19X 10.5 with decent offsets that aren't discontinued other than the TE37 ultra? Doesn't seem to be a lot of options and their website isn't current.

At the moment, currently none....Gram Light actually has some better size offerings in 19".

Though we do have one set left of Discontinued size Matte Blue Gunmetal ZE40 in 19x9.5 +22 / 19x10.5 +22 in stock if interested.
