Pic request/Cant decide... 19 or 20? Ferrada fr3

I'm looking at buying a set of Ferrada FR3's in silver for my White Z... I love the way 20s look but they slow down the car and don't ride as well... Some 19s look too small. Does anyone have or can find a pic of fr3's in 19s on a 370z?
Opinions?

Thanks in advance!

Who says 20's slows the car down and don't ride well??? Let me guess, someone who has stock wheels on there cars, Lol. There are 22 inch forged wheels out there that are lighter than some cast 19's so don't make that statement based on size, if you want a good light wheel your gonna have to pay it.

I've seen that video, it's what made me want the ferradas. So sexy! They're 20x11.5 all the way around. I was thinking 20x9 and 20x10.5 for the Z would be the best function wise for 20s... even though I think 20x10.5 and 20x11.5 would look better. However, weight isn't the only factor that slows down a car though, so does diameter. When I put 20" Vossens on my G coupe it slowed the car a ton, and didn't quite ride as smooth. However I know Vossens aren't light, but they're not the heaviest wheel out there either. The weights on the Ferradas are 20x9 | 28.2 lbs - 20x10.5 | 29.3 lbs - 20X11.5 | 31.1 lbs which the stock wheels are 23.2lbs for the front and 23.8lbs for the rear... 94lbs vs the 115lbs for the ferradas... which is 21 lbs heavier plus the larger tires (I was thinking 265 front 305 rear but not sure) I was thinking of getting the Z1 2 piece rotors which would save 30lbs and leave me 9lbs lighter before tire differences.

Idk I'm so back and forth, 20s look great, but idk

If weight is the priority, then stay stock cause you'll never get better than stock as far as weight and ride quality.

Personally I would've done the bronze wheels on a pw Z!!! ;)

if you are hesitate about the effect from a set of 20, but also worry about the look on the 19 is too small...

choose the wheel-style that has the spokes extend all the way to the edge of the wheel...

something like this:

I have a set of this in 19 on my PW Z, and the extended length of those spokes make the wheel looks like a 20.

I actually have been asked many times from other people about "are they 20? they look nice."

and when I tell them they are "only" 19, they're all

^this was my 2nd set of wheels, my first set, was also a 19, a CV1:

because of the shorter spokes and thicker edge/lip, it looks like a set of 18...

I showed them to people and nobody thought they are 19, even when I first pick up the car I thought "are they 18???"

therefore, just to give you an idea you can trick yours, and other people, eyes with the style of the wheels. :icon17:

choose wisely.
