*powder-coating repaired rims?*

Was wondering if you guys had some insight on powder coating repaired rims that had curb rash and were filled in with epoxy or some sort of filler. Would it withstand the temps inside the oven after powder coating? I'll be working on mine soon and didn't want them welded as it's pretty expensive with the powder coating overall :(.

I wouldn't see why not. The temps aren't usually that high. I believe Mike the Powdercoater (when he was in business) said that he took wheels to 245°.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. Btw where in Kentucky are you from? I'm heading there potentially Sunday to visit my bro.

I'm actually in Southern Indiana. I work in Louisville.
