Are my wheels forged?
 
http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...223e80d049.jpg okay so these are the wheels i have and the other day, i was getting a patch in one of my tires. when the tire was off the rim m, i got curious and picked the rim up with little to no effort. i may look dum but im just curious lol

I don't think they are forged.

The sport ones are forged though for sure, it says it right on the rim.

Forged or not,not that much difference in weight,if you are happy with the 18" rim design,just keep it...you won't feel the difference on power if you change to 19" Forged wheels with new Tyres.

Also being smaller actually saves a lot of weight and you have a larger selection of less expensive tires. Not to mention a little closer gearing with the smaller diameter.

Smaller diameter rim but with a thicker sidewall tire, overall diameter is the same, gearing still ends up the same.

275/35/19 (sport pkg rears) and 245/45/18 (base rears) both are 26.6" diameter.
