Continental DW sale on tire rack

Just wanted to share in case anyone is in need of some tires, tire rack is taking a deep discount on these, possibly a replacement coming, but for my street tires they're about $100 off a tire front and rear

Wow, what a find!

Common sizes and prices (per tire) for our 19's
  • 245/40/19 - $192.93
  • 255/40/19 - $142.45
    .
  • 265/35/19 - $159.32
  • 275/35/19 - $144.45
  • 285/35/19 - $153.45
    .
  • 305/30/19 - $183.55
If these prices existed a month ago, I would've gone with these, darn it.

I'm getting 305 tears, 2 235/40/18 and 2 275/35/18 for my fathers car, all for around 800, you can not beat that price

TreeSemdyZee 10-08-2016 10:03 PM

I may have to jump on this. Wonder why the 245s are so much higher? More common size maybe?

This is an excellent deal. Many brick and mortars will beat that price. If you have an independent shop that you normally go to, you might be able to get a deal. The big brands will be pushing their next gen tires in 2017 so dealer incentives look great. This also explains some of the inventory shortages for certain tires out there.

Darn! I just purchased Michelin AS/3 plus for the rears and it wasn't cheap. I might have considered these for the price.

my local tire shop does do some dealing, on my P car I told them what Tirerack would cost me and he beat their price, he has a lot of wiggle room since he charges $30 to mount/balance each tire...keeps the money local too.
