So the tires were set to 35psi, but the front tires looked a bit low still. So I bumped up the pressure to 40psi to see if it would make a noticeable difference. Surprisingly, I think these tires like a bit more pressure for daily driving. The steering response improved with minimal change to impact harshness. They're a lot quieter and the stickier than stocks. The tread looks great and will see how they wear with the tire pressure adjusted. I'll drive around a bit more and report in. The weight of the wheels haven't made a depreciable difference on the road. I'll check to see how the larger front tires hold up. They seem to match a 10" width wheel perfectly. The rears are stretched a bit, but I'd have to step up to at least a 325 to get a close match.

My front 285/35 invo's on 19x10's fit the same & steering response is noticeable better than previous 245's,,,I was concerned about them wanting to wander or follow bad places in the road; but actually perform better.
The rear 345/30's on 19x12's are heavy-but ride quality & handling is great! |
285's on the front. Like a glooooooove! I'm having the lowering springs installed tomorrow :)

Last pics from this morning before lowering. I also checked suspension clearance and found I had a good inch of space. I'll check fender liner clearance, and I'd there is plenty there too, it'd mean we could go larger up front. Now that the tires have a bit of shine, it helps balance out the wheel to tire ratio

Also do you have a pic of the inner clearance for the rear wheels? |
I don't hear rubbing, but I did notice part of the front fender liner that pokes out was rubbed, like maybe a 1/2"X1/4" length on both sides. Other than that, nothing. I don't have the inner clearance of the rear wheels, but I'm certain there's a couple inches available.
I can't say enough good things about the tires. It's just dramatically better in every category compared to RE050 and Yokohama Advan Sports. I'm still testing them. |
