Need help choosing wheels for black cherry 370z

Hello all,

I have a 2011 black cherry 370z that I am looking to switch the wheels out of. I have been back and forth about either buying something different or trying to find someone with a used set of the 19" rays.

I currently have the stock wheels that are plastidipped black cherry to match the car. I'm not sure which direction to go. If I got the rays, I would probably plastidip them as well, since powder coating would probably cost as much as the wheels.

Black wheels do not look good with this color, and the standard grey/silver/chrome look looks goofy to me.

With a car color like this, it's been difficult to choose something.

Just as a side note, my door handles and emblems are all plastidipped as well, and my tail lights are tinted, so my car has an overall 'blacked out' look, even though it's black cherry.

Any help is appreciated!

I should probably add that my budget is ~$1000 for a set, so nothing super crazy. I like some of the vossen offerings but they are quite expensive.

It's sad day POS Vossens costs more than our sport Rays.

I do not believe there are wheels available in 19" that would be:
1. Attractive
2. Less than $250 per wheel
3. Clear the brakes

sowwy

Hm I might have some wiggle room...

How do you like your forgestars? I was actually looking at those wheels as well.

plus 1000 for 4 wheels kinda wheels might crack or stress fracture.

i suggest u find a used set of sport 19's or the nismo 19's and play it safe.
or, save up some for more earn$pend  power.

The 19" sport Rays or Nismo Rays are lighter, stronger, and of far better quality than anything else you might consider for $1000. Do yourself a favor and don't buy shitty wheels :twocents:

Sounds like Sport Rays are the way to go for your budget. You can get a decent set between $800-1200 easily depending on condition.

Seems like it! Looks like I'll go that route. Thankfully this community is full of great folks who have been eager to help me out with a set for a reasonable price. Trying to find a set on eBay is ridiculous -- some sellers want $2,000+ for a set!
