Fat tire road rash??

I'm just installed new wheels with 19x9.5 +20 on the front. With this fitment, the front wheels extend out about an inch past the little splash guard at the bottom of the wheel well. I'm wondering if anyone out there running this fitment has had any problems with rock chips (road rash) along the side of the car from rocks getting thrown up by the front tires. I'm wondering if I need wider splash guards or additional clear bra.

wrong offset on wheels?

i run the nismo wheels 19x9.5 ET40 with 245/40/19 RE11's on the front. definitely more kickup than the sport 19's.

i just bought a 6" width roll of clearbra and made my own protector down the rockers.

Do you get many rock chips above the rockers like on fenders or doors or does protecting the rockers pretty much do the trick?

No, the fitment works. Just a lot wider.

You should be fine, I was running my front Nismo wheels with a 20mm spacer which makes them a +20 offset. 17k miles and I haven't noticed scratching or chips on rockers
