Sport package wheels, red anyone?
1 Attachment(s)
Anyone out there have their OEM sport package wheels powdercoated, or dipped a shade of red?
My wheels are currently dipped a custom dark gunmetal shade by a pro, and next year I'm thinking of peeling and trying a deep or dark red color for something different. Anyone? Pic for reference (no, its not on flat ground) :) |

Depends on how it is executed. Don't let naysayers kill the idea. Not mine but I like it.

it comes down to ur car, if u like it then do it...;)

Use palstidip first to see if you like it, before you go the permanent rout.

It's been done...

id get a splitter of some sort (like a Ings+) to finish it off. too much sparkle on the wheels while rest of the car looks stock.

but the color asks for more bits to dress up the car a tad more for balance with the theme. dat said, i luv my hypersilver nismo wheels on my photoshopped ride.. :ugh: :icon17: ;) |
I agree.
By wrong, I mean that the OP asked for sports wheels. |

Autoflex is peelable, and is durable, able to be glossy etc. Everyone just knows the name "plastidip" from 5 years ago, but things have changed a lot. See below. Quote:
