Re-11s 255 on 9.5 rohanas
My friend is running 265 Michelins pilot sport 2s. The tires fit perfect.
Jason from getyourwheels.com suggested 255 bridgestone re-11s. I'm worried that 255s are going to stretch. Anyone have any experience with these tires? Do they run wide? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using Tapatalk |
I don't think 255s will stretch too noticeably if 265s work perfect. I think the Michelins run a bit wide if anything - at least I know the PSS run wide. I believe 255 is the stock tire size for front Nismo wheels, which are 9.5" wide.
FWIW, lots of people, including myself run 265s on the front sport rims which are only 9" wide. But stock is 245 for those wheels. I like wider tires because they can help protect my rims to small degree. |
I have 245/35 on my 19x9.5" wheels and it's hardly any stretch.
I had a 255/35 on a 20x10" wheel before with minimal stretch, as well. I would choose a 255/35 on my 9.5" wide wheels, now, if I did it over again. You're good! |
Id say 90% of the F14 setups we've done out there is with a 255/35/19 since the 19x9.5 +20 fronts fits semi aggressive. The mild stretch on the 255 allows you to get pretty low without any rubbing.
As long as you aren't trying to slam it and tuck tire, the 265/35/19 in front fits. Heres 265/35/19 RE-11s on the 9.5 fronts. http://i.imgur.com/xJVlTIq.jpg http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i3...pszrxvdqsa.jpg Heres 255/35/19 in front: http://i1279.photobucket.com/albums/...ps8ui9e2kk.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q...B4BD9BDC6E.jpg http://i.imgur.com/LURheRL.jpg?1 http://i.imgur.com/YW5Aq5W.jpg?1 Let me know which you prefer Johnathan, and we'll get your F14 build going ;) |
