F14's ... what tires

Hey All,

I'm finally going to mount my F14s I picked up months ago and wanted to make sure I didn't just order a tire that wont fit. When I got them from a wheel guy on this page, he suggested a 305/30/19 and 255/35/19.

I do not have spacers... is this going to be a problem? I have to let the tire shop know by tonight 6pm EST if I need to cancel my order.

Thoughts?

Thanks group!

I mean there's a range of sizes you can go with so really it's what do you want to run.

max I would say 275/265 on the fronts and 315/325 max on the rears if you want to go wide.

for which tire to run I personally like RE-11's

So you say I'm safe without spacers for the 305/255 option then?

I would say let someone else chime in. those specs of your wheels i'm not 100% on if they will rub. but with our car and wheels typically tires are in line with the wheel lip so if the wheel aint hitting the tire wont. also the height of tire we typically run is low so that helps as well.

again i'll see if anyone is on now who knows those specs better and can shed better light on it for you.

If your F-14's have the Z fitment offset, you're good to go. I just Got a set with +25 front and +15 rear wearing 265/305. Perfect fit no rub.

thanks guys, just made me a bit nervous

Your tire sizes will fit nicely and you won't rub. Your front fitment is almost identical to mine and I wish I had went 255/35 instead of my 245/35.

You might poke a tad at stock height but with a slight drop, this will be a really good fit. If you're slammed, you might be slightly tucked.

Look around in the wheel fitment / "Will it fit" threads and you will see specs very similar to yours so you know what to expect. You'll be a happy camper with this fitment, though!

Thanks for the reassurance... I was pretty nervous. I saw a set of F14s for sale running 245/275's ... so that made me pretty concerned.

Also I'm stock height with no intention to slam.. just to boost :)

No need to slam. But if you happen to get bored, throw some Swift springs or coilovers on it

No spacers and let me look and see if I can find a pic that you're looking for. You're wanting to see rear fitment?

:iagree::iagree: 265/305 :tup:

moore.speed 07-23-2015 04:09 PM

Bruh... Your offset is 13mm less, making the wheel further inside the finder, so you have plleeentttyyyy of room. I could clear a 305 and knowing that now, I would have done that. 305's on your setup will be perfect. As for front, go 255/35 or 265/35 if you want beef.

paratrooper 07-27-2015 07:44 AM

Lower and I may not get in and out of my driveway!

moore.speed 07-27-2015 08:18 AM

JUST DO IT!!!!! lol

NORAIN 07-27-2015 10:34 AM

I have to lay down 2"x6"'s to get in and out of mine. But it's worth it!
