one of my tires popped

so was riding on the highway and next thing i know i hear a loud noise and then it sounded like air was leaving my right rear tire

luckily got back home and after a few hours it now seems like no more air is coming out of the tire but definitly got a nail or something in the tire

so going to take it to a shop tmrw and see if they can patch up the tire but if they cant and i need to buy a new tire

im gonna want to make sure to get the oem tire, does anyone know for sure what the brand and specs are for the rear tires on a 2015 370z is? And about how much should i expect to pay, thanks!

Not trying to be a jerk but doesn't it tell you what brand you have on the tire....assuming you have the base model the spec for the rear is 245/45/18 and if you have the sport model its 275/35/19

Let your fingers do the walking.

If you will give your location, someone may be able to recommend one or more places with good deals.

Hi, can you guys all do my google searches for me. My fingers went on strike, they must be in the union. Help!

OTW Z-Boy 07-18-2015 09:38 AM

You should just take it to the dealership where you made the purchase I'm sure they will cover the damage under warranty... No effort needed on your part.

Thanks guys after my fingers finished going on strike and after consulting with my mom (thanks IDZRVIT)

i assume the more expensive one is considered "better" but can anyone explain why?

I see one has UTQG of 140 AA and the other 340 AA :O

From what I googled it looks like tires are never covered

IF your Z's equipped withe RE050's? Replace it with that.

The difference besides price? 140 vs 340 is just more milage from the tire at a cost of some performance.

Tire coverage is an only option at time of purchase.

Have you verified the tires non repairable?

If so continue on the replacement purchase.

How many miles do you have on the tires? If they are the Potenzas and you have more than 2,000 - 3,000, then you will need to replace both rears if you want to maintain handling and safety. Side-to-side differences in tread wear make for not so good times.

yeah there the oem tires, Potenzas have about 8000 miles on them

are you sure about the 2000-3000 from what i was reading on the forums here a couple threads in which some people were saying they got 15-25 out of the oem tires? and my tires have 8000 and running pretty fine overall

was able to patch it up for now but mines are pretty worn down so ill have to change them all pretty soon / should i just stick with the oem?

was quoted about 1400 for front & back oem tires

Driving the car in any way spiritedly, 12 - 13,000 is about it on the rears. I am a bit obsessive though and my tires never get below 4/32" before I replace them.
