Quick Question about Brembo

:tiphat:Hey everyone, I am looking at wheel and tire packages online and a bunch of sites ask for your cars information. When I enter my information it asks if my car has Brembo or not. Im assuming these are the brake pads maybe, but I would just like to know what they are talking about and which cars have it? Thanks!

It's probably just a feature left over from the 350Zs on their site formating. The 350s had Brembo options.. the 370z does not.

There are aftermarket Brembo calipers avail for the 370Z

The sport model brakes might say Nissan but they are Akebonos, right? Akebono makes brakes for F1, btw.

Yeah there are aftermarket ones but I doubt the website is concerned with one of the aftermarket caliber options. I don't remember which model 350Z had the brembo but I know one came with them stock. (I know Nismo did)

And the Sport model are Akebono, yes.

replaced brembos with akebono cause they last longer and cheaper to replace.

just pick that option bc its only to ask if you have bbk's

That makes sense. I was jw if i had anything to worry about if i got wheels that said not brembo

If you don't have sport they should fit, but I would be Leary of any site that thinks the 370 has brembos. They may also think the 370 uses the same offsets as the 350z, which it does not.

Very true, and very good advice.
