Need Help - All season tires for 2013 370z w/sports package

Whats up playERS. I am looking to make some cross country trips this year and I would like some all season tires. The dealership recommended some Potenza tires that cost $455 per tire annnnnnnnnnd yeah, that aint happening. :shakes head:

So I was wondering if you guys could recommend some affordable all season tires (with links if possible). I have a 2013 370z w/sports package.

Thanks in advance.

Keep hearing very good thing about the Michelin Pilot Sport AS3's. Cheaper than $455/tire, that's for sure.

Thanks dude. Any particular site you would recommend me getting these tires from?

Tirerack or Discount Tire are the two places I use. Check out the Bridgestone S-04s and Nitto Invos :twocents:

Thanks man. Potenza tires just haven't been nice to me in the past so I dunno about the S-04s but I'll check out the Nitto Invos. Thanks again.

The Re050 tires that come with the Z are overpriced performance tires. S-04s are actually very good DD tires, but at a much more reasonable cost. I definitely recommend you consider them as well.

I have run several sets of Invos on the Z over the past few years and have been nothing but pleased. They have great wet weather performance, very good dry performance, very good wear, and are an excellent value for what you get IMO. They have a soft sidewall and definitely aren't track tires, but they were consistent and predictable in both easy and hard cornering on the track when I drove them.

I will definitely do my research on the S-04s, I just felt in the past the Potenza tires have ran out of traction way to soon. Where did you purchase your Invos tires from in the past, I've always had trouble finding the right size Invos for a Z?

Yes, the S-04 should give you much better tire wear than the RE050s. Discount Tire for the Invos. Don't be afraid to change sizes, but try to keep the diameter and stagger ratio as close to possible. I've run up to 265/35/19 front and 305/30/19 rear. In the Invos I typically run 255/35 and 285/30 because of the price and availability of those sizes. Most tire places don't keep a whole lot of stock of tires sized for the Z in general, so I'm always ordering them before I need them.

Damn 305 in the rear? I didn't know I could get away with that because of the sports package rims.

Any thoughts on the NT05? Not sure if that's an all season tire though.

JARblue 02-02-2015 09:23 AM

NT05 is a performance tire. Good for autoX and track, but definitely not what you want.

Too Proxies 4 been running themost for over a year in Colorado. Good grip haven't had them slide or howl in "65mph" turns doing 85-95mph.

I'm running Continental DWS. I haven't really had any snow to speak of, so I can't weigh in on that, but I paid just under $1100 mounted. Major deal because one place wanted to charge me $1600+.
They are VERY quiet also, which is nice.

JARblue 02-02-2015 11:33 AM

Conti DW Extreme are on my list to try (in Texas I don't really need the S). I have heard nothing but good things about them. Their quietness is probably the main reason I haven't tried them. I drive with the windows down 90% of the time, so it's not something I look for in a tire.
