Yep, stuck in traffic on Kam Highway. Took me an hour from stadium to Best Buy!

"Well I took some time and installed the Stillen CAI. Check out the pics!"

Nicely done! How difficult was this? What about the exhaust?

Romanowski 09-07-2009 02:28 AM

I did the exhaust but not the high flow cats on Saturday.
The sound and throttle response time thusfar is amazing

The CAI install wasn't that hard. It took me a few hours, and I was drastically taking my time and drinking beer

Special K...Infinity of HNL was having a tough time selling their cars (used and new). Before I bought my Z I was low balling the hell out them and they were game with it. (Then I saw Z and fell in love). I have some Autocross friends that were selling their 07 G35 sedan, but that was almost a year ago and I don't know if they sold it or not.

Oh I don't want to do any mods but the itch is there. I really like the Stilllen Gen 3 intake along with the complete exhaust. Hopefully, we can all meet up one day so I can hear how you guys' mods sound.

One thing I don't want to lose is the "live-ability" of the Z. My previous car was an SRT4 that I want all out on with a big turbo kit, 3" Turbo-back exhaust and plenty of other supporting mods. That car was pretty much like driving a race car with a full interior.

At this age (30-31 but feeling closer to mid 40s) I just want to enjoy the car with a decent bump in performance/power.

yea i tried craiglist everyones greedy and some of the ppl still have lean holder has anyone bought a car with a lean holder on it. im scared if i buy a car with lean holder there not gonna release the title after i pay them and there gonna try and report the car stollen or just run away with my money

thispecialk 09-07-2009 10:26 PM

hey did u ever get ur bumper painted? i think i found a g35 i can buy but it needs a new paint job it has alot of scratches. how much would it cost to get a full body paint job done at the place u went to

Graybullet 09-08-2009 01:17 AM

Anyone know where how I can remove the safety sticker without messing up my bumper? I don't if the sticker falls apart, I'll pay to get another one...someone was telling me to use razor blade!?!? Hell NO!

Also, where can I buy those bracket that extends from your license plate (not the one under the bumper) for safety check.. thanks!!

IMWEZL 09-08-2009 02:05 AM

You can get the safety plate at razor concepts at the mall by Aiea (which one I don't know because there are two malls right next to each other)...it's the one with the city satellite office.

To take off the safety sticker use a hair dryer to heat it up. It might have some adhesive still so I recommend finding a decent body shop that can remove the residue without marring the surface. Probably shouldn't cost more than $50.

Yeah I had my rear bumper painted after my neighbor ran into it. The guy who painted it passed away recently from a heart attack. Either way he sucked and now I have a little bit of overspray. Can't really tell a dead person to fix it.

Also you can get in contact with the actual lean holder send the payment directly to them and the title will be returned to you in your name.

SpecK- I had my rear bumper fixed to. Luckily, he asked me if I wanted a Inspection Decal relocate. I bought my decal relocator from Razor Concepts @ the PearlRidge Mall. $13 I think
