Cars and Coffee off 215 and Eastern in the BJ's parking lot. Starts at 0800, show up a bit early. We have a group that gets together there.
I'm off today! I'll see you guys at 8. Magnetic black with temp plates. Do you guys park in the northwest corner of the lot by the traffic light still?

Spotted a red base on Monday around 2 PM heading into/dropping someone off at the Venetian. I was checking out on my way to the airport.
Was that anybody on here? |
Not that I know of. But, unlike around 18 months ago when seeing a 370 was a once-or-twice-a-month event, I see them all the time now. More than a few female owners too. They're growing much more popular now, I guess, as early buyers' warrantees from 2009 start to expire and they sell their Zs on, making more used cars available and that pushes used prices down closer to the affordable $25k mark. There's a bunch of sub-$30k 370s in the local Autos Illustrated right now.
is everyone here from vegas?
Mostly. I'm in Afghanistan right now though : /
just looking to join a car club here in Vegas or at least meet other Z owners.
Cars and Coffee on Saturday's, Show up between 7 and 8, there is a good group of guys that have Z's as well as other pretty sick rides. The first time I showed up (heard about them in this thread earlier this year), they flagged me down and had me park next to them. Tell them Eddie told you to show up. If you plan on doing any mods, they also have a wealth of knowledge as well. Keep an eye out if your looking for deals, I may be selling some things if I decide to go FI.
nice might go this saturday then. thinking about getting FI aswell that would be my first mod if ever

I was in my G but not parked in the cars area. Oh and hello to all! Yes I am in the Vegas area, in Henderson near the Galleria Mall area, first time I have seen this thread. |
The guys usually go to the breakfast restaurant and congregate. Catch them early if you want to run into them. Note to "Evergreatest", FI is expensive and expect to pay at least 10k + install and supporting mods. I don't know how well off you are, but just be aware of the steep price of admission. Hell, I spent $5,500 on everything I have including install, tuning, and dyno tests. Stupid Z tax.
FI will cost you a pretty penny, for $1,300.. you can't even start dreaming about it yet! lol
Hey guys coming to vegas next week ! Cant wait !
Fast intentions you mean. I was talking about forced induction ;)
lol yes FI fast intention. then yes if forced induction your talking about its really expensive
I would recommend Motordyne's. It's pretty sweet.

Hey guys, Ive never been to Vegas before but me and my wife are flying out there March 5th weekend. Her maid of honor is getting married out there at the Cesar's Palace. Any good recommendations on where to stay and is it worth renting a car? Ive gotta book it all in the next few weeks obviously and I wana have some fun while were there ya know! Thanks for the help, it will be my first trip ever to the west side of the US.
You don't need a car. You'll probably save money just using a taxi for anywhere you want to go that isn't walking distance. Regarding places to stay, I would look in to vacation rentals if you have a lot of people with you. If not, there are still plenty of deals on rooms because Vegas has a $hit ton. Better deals are of course off the strip.
Nah we will just be the two of us in the room so we just need a room for 2 nights there and dont know of the awsome places to stay with so many to pick from. Not many of her family or friends are even flying over from Florida because of the distance and money but it was her Maid of honor so she is like "were going!" So its just a small wedding from what I gather. The only reason for the car would be to possibly drive somewhere like the hoover damn or something like that. I mean, im 33 and Ive never been out west in my life so its like do what ya can while you can!
I would look into City Center if your looking for something that has the WOW factor. There are a cluster of Hotels there, all beautiful. f it's just two days, get the car. I would look at checking out Red Rock (not the Hotel). Nice climbing and trails there if you plan on doing anything out doors. Places to hang out: Blondies at Planet Hollywood is fun DB's as well if you like beer pong. Hard to find cheaper drinks on the strip than there. Personal friend owns them too. Go to PT's if you are looking for a local bar with a good list of food and alcohol. If you're a beer lover, go to Town Square and head to Yard House. Great food and 100's of craft beer. Good shopping as well. I also recommend checking out Fry's across the street from there if you are into electronics. If you are looking for great food places, there are a lot. My personal favorite is DW Bistro. Jamaican inspired restaurant on the SW side of town. Their jerk fried chicken is spectacular. They also use it with their chicken and waffles in the morning. Hope this helps.
woo hoo were flying out at 7am our time and will be there just before noon! SHould be fun, never even been anywhere out west before. Were staying at the Golden Nugget and did rent a SUV to get around as we wana go see the hoover damn and other places. Ill have to wave if I see any 370zs around. So dont look at me like Crazy guy if you see some random in a rental SUV waving at ya! haha WOo bed time, gotta get up in 4 hours, uggh.
I'm telling you, if you like Jamaican food, make an effort to try DW Bistro, I'm overseas and I'm having withdrawals over their Jerk Fried chicken! Anyways, hope you guys enjoy the trip :)
I agree. DW is some of the best food I've ever had.
Just got back, saw 3 Z's while I was there. A GM nismo, a MB in the caesars palace valet parking lot, had a Jesus thing on the back, and a white sport on the 515 headed toward Vegas from Henderson area. We had a good time though it was so short! We went to the hoover dam and did the top of the Stratosphere and I managed to maket he wife drive up and down the street this morning so I could run into Hard Rock cafe for my City T shirt I always get from whever:) haha. If you can believe it its MUCH colder here in Central Fl than Vegas...sad but should be back to the 80s by the end of the week. I tell ya you guys are so lucky to look out and see those killer mountains every day with the snow peaks! BUt your missing the green TREES!! haha Next time we go were planning to stay for a week and go to the Grand Canyon etc. It was totally worth renting our Nissan Rogue as it was only 50 bucks for the 3 days and we only spend 19 bucks in gas topping it back off! Now back to getting warm burrrrrr
Glad to hear you had a good time. Next time you're in Vegas, be sure to check out Exotics Racing at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. You can drive just about anything from a Ferrari to a Lamborghini (even a GTR). Highly recommended.
Fast intentions hfc and exhaust are in! Now who's down to do an install??
I'm still far from home! I can give you a few numbers to try lol. Force Fed did mine cheap as hell if you don't have tools. Let me know how it goes.
Never had DW I guess I am going to have to give it a try.
The exotics are expensive to drive! I looked into it and about **** myself. My GM Z is over at Ceasars a few times a month but I park in the garage up on the 6th level. There are good parking spaces where people can't ding you up there. My wife loves to shop at the Forum shops. Oh and I have never done an HFC on a Z although I did my CB. The hardest part was getting the car jacked up. |
How much did they charge firehawk?
Edit: DW is in the Southwest. I recommend them. Table 34 is also good. Getting the car up and the demon bolts are deterring me from doing it. Wish I had a lift! |
I had long tubes and exhaust put on for $425. Should be a lot less for the HFC's though. Just be up front on the process. When they removed my headers, the cats were left on so they haven't played with them yet. Johnny and George are the shop owners. I can PM you their number. They also have a dyno so you can get a baseline and post pulls done if you want.
Edit: on second thought, they did say they didn't charge enough for my install haha, but kept their promise. |
Ha that's a little more than paladin quoted, 230-280. Forest at get nutz bought my 240 from me and I put the exhaust install in as part of the price. He's just busy getting ready for formula d and I feel like I've waited long enough for the exhaust to arrive. Lol I'll probably just wait til he's free, I don't want to spend unnecessary cash. How much do they charge for 3 pulls?
