Nick, was that your silver 370 at the Pavs Saturday?

Also saw a '13 Magma red base+sport out there, but no one standing near it to see whom it belonged to.

We didn't have our cars Sat, for fear of the rain (which it didn't on that side of town).

Yeah my friend and I stopped by for about an hour. I live a few blocks away so I am close -

Saw the magma (orange) '13.

Also saw a wrapped matte white '13 with blacked out tails and amuse rear.

Ah okay.

Dang, I missed everyone then. Saw the cars though.

Surprised there were that many out there with the threat of weather.

Seems more rolled out once they realized it wasn't going to rain.

We may go back out this Saturday.

Sent from my iPhone.

It actually did end up raining about an hour after I left. But I guess I am so close that I generally don't even think about the weather before I leave..

Wish I could've met you though! We need to plan our "Arizona Z Picture" that we both talked about.

Haboob 08-19-2013 06:36 PM

Assuming the weather is right, my buddy and I are planning to be out there this Saturday I believe.

If you guys have Z's I'd rather plan a date and just go somewhere that has decent lighting. I rarely take pictures at Pavs because I use about 10% of them. Its hard to get a good shot of the cars when they are all huddled.

I know a few spots around north phoenix (closer towards you) that we can go to take photos or cruise around

Oh yeah, not Pavs for pics. Was just saying we'd be out there.

He doesn't have a Z, but a GTR.

That works.. :icon17:

If we picked a saturday or sunday and planned it, I could honestly round-up around 15 Z's. I am sure you could probably get 1 or 2 more. We could have a really cool photo haha..http://s24.postimg.org/5ltq91rc5/z_c...lant_small.jpg

If it's the right weekend, I would consider making the run from Kingman. It would be nice to meet some other enthusiast!

Have any of you heard of a Z around town with a "supercharged Titan engine making 650hp"?

Looks like this:

( Click to show/hide )

Someone posted the pic on FB under "poor Z..." and someone commented that it has the above done to it.

I'm not quick to call BS, because I don't know the guy, nor have I seen this Z around town.

...that being said, the decals almost looked shopped to me.

I have seen a couple twin turbo'd 370z's out here but have yet to see a supercharged one. Its very possible he has a sc, and vk56... although both are expensive. The cost of a Vk56 swap is around 10-15k, plus 3-6k for supercharger.

& with an N/A VK56 and the right mods, you are at around 750hp. Thats not including the supercharger which would be another 50-100 or so maybe

And then to spend all that money and keep the stock wheels with bald tires?
There wouldn't be any traction.

So my guess is stock, washer mod, and decals.

Here is a real VK56 Swapped 370z without a supercharger.

I just wanted to confirm and get facts straight before I called him out on his BS.

Which, I kind of did already, but in a vague way.

I got a supercharger on my z and total bill came out around 7 with shipping and everything. Besides the point i had pretty crappy tires on her for a bit so i suppose its possible. :ugh2:

Anyone going to Import Face Off down in Tucson on 10/20?

Just curious. Saw someone post something up on FB about it.

vividracing 09-05-2013 05:29 PM

I'll be there with a handful of our cars, I have a stack of flyers at our reception desk if you want to save $2 on general admittance, showing is $30 I think.

NickTurnon 09-05-2013 10:00 PM

Anyone going to this?
