I saw a few 370's roll in to C&C Saturday, but as we were walking around I couldn't find the vehicles. Did y'all stay? Couple of white Z's, at least one Nismo, maybe two, I can't remember.
Then I found a 370Z (Silver) that lives (I think, could have been visiting) nearby off of Olive, near El Mirage - though I don't think that's anyone on here, is it? |

Cars & Coffee. It's every first Saturday of the month at Scottsdale Rd and Doubletree Ranch Blvd (the Gainey Ranch area). The one that's the third Saturday of the month is Penske, and I went once and it was a bust. Haven't been back since. |

Rain scares the exotics away for the most part though. Last week started off slow, but little by little some lower end exotics (458's, 911's, etc.) came out. |

Anybody have any experience with DynoComp in Scottsdale? Went to get an estimate from the guy for the FI twin turbo install, along with clutch/flywheel, e85 fuel system, and exhaust. First they don't call me back when trying to schedule a consult, so I call a week later and get a time. He was great to talk to in person, but then doesn't send my estimate over. Call after a week and claims they sent it, so they resend. I get it and it's missing all sorts of stuff. PLUS $2k upcharge for the kit...i guess for him ordering it for me? I call him out on it, and just politely asked why the kit was $12k, and then never do I hear from them again. Makes me not even want to do maintenance there. Anybody have a great shop recommendation in the valley? I'm in the west Valley so closer to there would be best. Preferably with a Dyno. Thanks!

First of all, call FI directly and deal with them (assuming you are talking about Fast Intentions). I don't think DynoComp even has any connections with them in the first place. You will be waiting 3-5months for the FI kit to be build since they are built to order. Depending on the upgrades you can easily spend 12k-14k on the kit itself. That isn't even including a clutch. I priced out my build at around 18k just to get it rolling, that isn't including any labor. You could probably do it for around 16-17k without labor. If you want it done right without worry, id bring it to FI directly or SpecialtyZ. SpecialtyZ will install the kit for around 3.5k.
UMS would probably get it done right if you want to stay here in AZ. Just make a trip out to Cali :) Quote:

Dude just take the car to SpecialtyZ...you will get it done right witb everything you need for 15 to 17k. It just depends on what up grades you want. Really you would be foolish, take it to anyone who has not installed the kit before.
