Dyno / tune Phoenix

Hey just got a 370Z and have added some HFC / Invedia exhaust and plan to add a STILLEN G3 CAI in a week or so. I was thinking about getting a tune. Does anyone know a good shop in PHoenix they could recommend?

I'd wait till you're absolutely sure you wont add anything else like ported upper / lower intake manifolds, big bore throttle bodies, or headers.

Thanks Betty, I need to do some more research on the intake manifolds and the gains as well as headers. Eventually would like to add a STILLEN supercharger. I have some ZR1 test pipes to switch out the HFC as well. What would you recommend gets the bigger gains headers or intakes?

Ported upper intake manifold. I enjoy mine, from Motordyne. I know there's a set of slightly used big bore throttle bodies for sale here too. As for the rest. Power gains for ported lower intake manifold are questionable. OEM headers are quite good and the 3-5 HP you'd gain from aftermarket headers isn't worth spending $800-1200.

Reviving older thread! Can anyone recommend a good ecutek dyno tuner in the Phoenix area?

SpecialtyZ FTW. He can do remote tuning as well.

The only shop that I would trust in the Phx area is UMS Tuning. Tony is pretty awesome, but I don't know if he does Ecutek.

Thanks for the reply.

I am actually remote tuned by Seb. But with my FI hfc's i'm getting an engine light for post 02 sensors. Was hoping a tuner shop that uses ecutek could do some troubleshooting; check for leaks, bad gaskets, etc. I don't have the ability or tools to get under the car myself.

I had the same issue. You very likely have a bad gasket. Simple fix. You can also, yourself, go into ECUtek via the app and clear your codes, see if it comes back.

Hi Betty, thanks for the response. I clear my the codes every other day because i hate seeing the light lol

I'll probably take it in to my regular shop and have them redo the gaskets. failing that i'll have to put the stock cats back on before June when my emissions is due :(
