350z lsd in 370z open diff swap.

I really need some help, I got a 350z lsd, swapped into my 370z pumkin and I’ve read about this swap being done a thousand times but the shop is saying the gears don’t line up, can anyone help me with this, or have some Info?

If the ring gear is too far away. You will have to shim it. Which is never a good idea. If it's pinion depth. It has to be shimmed too. You would have been better off with the right parts to begin with.

I did some research on this a while back. The swap is the whole center section. They you just change out the axle stubs.
