Did a baseline dyno today!

So I dynoed my 2013 Touring Sport today to see what the stock numbers would be before doing any mods to the car. They seem to be in the normal range, but that depends on what others have been dynoing like. Only real concern I see is the TQ numbers seem lower than normal. But again, that could be because of the setup. I'll explain:

I'm used to dynoing a car in the gear closest to 1:1, although more often than not it's 4th gear. I've never had a car dynoed in 3rd gear until today. I'm not sure what the difference in numbers will be, but I'm sure it will be lower. Really doesn't matter to me as I know it's just a reference for gains after mods and tuning. The other thing that was different this time is that they didn't use a fan in front to simulate air flow. So these numbers are on a warm 85 degree morning in 3rd gear with no fan. No fan is probably the biggest culprit for heat soak and the consistent drop in numbers for each subsequent pull. Do these numbers look normal for these conditions? From what I've searched they seem in line. But most people don't say what the conditions were. 3rd gear or 4th. Fan or no fan.

Do you know why they did it in 3rd?

Our 5th gear is the 1:1 but most dyno in 4th gear.

But as long as when you start modding and repeat the same gear, you should be good to go for comparison.

The reason I was given was the speed in which the gear was hitting. They didn't feel a need to go into 4th when you already hit 100mph in 3rd. Which I need to check now cuz I don't recall hitting 100 in 3rd although it should be very close.

So do those numbers look about right considering the factors? HP seems ok but the TQ at 212-214 seems off. The one that hit 224 is more on target, but it looks like a hiccup on the dyno graph.

Yea we don't hit 100 in 3rd 95 MPH if I remember right. 4th from 2500 till 7800 RMPS will get you to close to 130 ( 128 or so) 5th is craziness and would be around 160. Can we go that fast ;). YUP

My dyno was done in 4th gear

All of mine are also, was just using HW for references :)

I see that your corrections is set to STD with a smoothing of 5. From experience, the majority of dynos use the SAE correction. I was curious, because I just did a baseline dyno myself, so I input your correction factors into my best run. It showed a 10whp increase. Like you said, the dyno is only for tuning and seeing gains from mods, however it has me curious what your numbers would be with my correction factors.
