Dynosty It is I suppose?

Well I just got home from dinner out with my family this evening for my birthday, and my mom handed me a 300$ gift card towards a dyno tune at Dynosty in Louisville, KY; and I'm wondering if anyone in the VHR37 community has taken their Z to them for tuning. These guys have a VERY impressive 1000whp 350 so I know they know UpRev in and out, but I don't hear of them much with our community here. Chime in if you got any info fellow brothers!

Thanks,

Ben

Great shop, and one of the best tuners in the U.S (Hal). I think he is the U.S Haltech rep as well...or something along those lines. You won't regret going there, as the entire crew is awesome to work with. I have been dealing with them for a few years now, and my experience has been 100% positive.

They are also one of the best engine builders out there for this platform.

I concur

Awesome! I'm just praying that he can work with the VVEL to really beef out that torque curve. At 150$ an hour ill spare no expense to leave with the most power for reliability that I can squeeze out of this stage 2 kit. I know they have an outstanding reputation in the VQ35 community but I just wanted to confirm that they will still be a good decision even for our "next gen" cars. Thank you for your help Sasha!

You are welcome...just be ready for some very low numbers on that DD dyno. It reads almost 20% lower than a lot of DJ's that I have seen out there. It is the very defenition of a "heart breaker" dyno. Many of my customers have had their cars built (turbo installs, engine builds, tuning...ect) at that shop, and they all drive away very happy.

As far as VVEL and boost curve goes, I would focus more on the power curve instead of the boost curve. I have noticed that even though the boost readings taper off, the power still continues to climb. That is really the most important thing to look at.

Great shop. Hal tuned my Z :tup::tup:

Glad to hear these responses. I've been pondering going there myself (of course I'm a whole lot closer than you are. Probably 20 minute drive :driving:)

Hey OP. Bet you wouldn't expect someone to be familiar with Wapakoneta?
Some of my family is from that area. We used to have a family reunion every year in Jackson Center.

We'll these responses are a relief of positive encouragement :-) haha, yeah I'm not so much looking for "boost power" I do know that I would like to be sitting around 540whp on 93 on an "average reading" dyno and I think I'll sit there until the bottom end needs rebuilt. For 22 years old that's more than enough for me right now; and from all the homework I've done it seems to be possible on the provided fuel injectors and pump.

Haha it's such a dot on the map people from all over Ohio will be like who-da-whatcha? Where? I'm just ask if they are familiar with where Lima Ohio is? "Oh yeah yeah" just a little south. Haha but yeah I visit Jackson center/lakeview frequently in the spring/summer time as we have a permanent campsite on the lake there! Don't really find too many people from the immediate neighborhood on the forums here it seems! I'm sure they're out there. I've just yet to meet them

Rose is the last name of the family that I have there. It would be funny if you actually know some of them.

No I don't think off of the top of my head that I do my mother is pretty people savvy though she may know someone!

Kuk how long of a session did you need? I believe it was Hal whom told me on the phone 4-6 hours; but I'm just trying to dial in a more accurate idea
