Here is another N/A tune we did recently on a 2009 370z. It was the base model with the sport package and a few nice bolt on upgrades he put on himself before coming to visit. The black line was his baseline with the mods installed, and the red lines are the results post tuning. This is actually the highest milage Z we have done to date getting close to 70,000mi on the clock. He went with some nice simple mods that netted him some good power after tuning. Overall based off these results I feel like there are definitely some better performing parts on the market, but this was a nice affordable setup for a clean daily driven Z.

Looks like short rams, help with that torque? But he should scrap those asap.

Can't wait to get a tune done by March, if I ever decide between Ecutek and uprev.

Yeah, I agree I think the car would have made a bit more power up top with something like the Stillen Gen3 long tubes or Takeda Attack intake system.

We pretty much exclusively use UpRev. ECUTek is nice software though not as widely supported as Osiris at this point.

Yeah we were pleased with the gains made on the dyno after tweaking VVEL and everything else.

Thanks for the comments!

i'm just confused on how this car baselined with 271wtq untuned with those mods. i dont think i've seen many tuned/modded N/A Z's with that much wtq before. doesnt even make sense lol

but then again i never seen peoples numbers of a dynocom dyno so idk how it compares to other types.

I'm not entirely sure as I haven't seen any comparison charts yet. One of our customers has ran on a DynoJet since his tune and actually made an extra 44WHP on the DynoJet versus our DynoCom (boosted Z). He didn't tell me how the torque compared though.

Thanks,

i was just curious since i am running similar mods (intake/exhaust/tune) and my TQ numbers are about 20ft/lbs less but i also have 20+ more WHP than the car's numbers you listed above. just weird seeing that big of a gap is all.

mine was 324whp and 258wtq when dyno tuned. (mods listed in sig)

What kind of Dyno did your tuner have? Like you said every dyno reads differently though so the true test would be a same day or same week comparison with similar weather conditions.

Interesting though, thanks for posting up!

:iagree: I'm at 298 whp & 248 wtq and this was done on a Mustang Dyno. The turner stated that there Mustang Dyno will read lower than everyone else and do not read too much into the numbers. All the mods that are in my sig are what gave me my whp & wtq.
