Z1 Motorsports: 326rwhp with Stock exhaust

Z1 Motorsports 326rwhp on Stock Catback!

After good success on Mike Golding's NA upgrades and tune on his 370Z with Momentum DE headers(342rwhp) we had another track oriented 370Z owner needing more power.

Chet's 370Z started with a base run of 272rwhp in stock form. His upgrades started with a Stillen Gen 3 intake system and a Z1 Motorsports 34 row oil cooler kit. Shortly after those components Chet had to move to California with his 370Z in tow due to job relocation. This slowed the progress of his track car a little however he was able to install a few safety features including a roll bar and Sparco Evo 2 seats.

This year Chet's 370Z returned to us from California after moving back to GA(we think he moved back because he missed us) with 7,000 miles on the clock. He pretty much just said "You guys know how to make power so make power".

With that said we knew just the recipe for good power without sacrificing reliability. So we went to town installing Momentum headers along with a Z1 Motorsports power mod which includes Z1 Motorsports DE testpipes. Once everything was installed we strapped the car to the dyno for a Z1 tuning session using Osiris(Chet hasn't decided on his Catback system yet).

Below is the Stock VS Tuned

Near the end of the tuning session I started tuning the VVEL. Here's the results.

Last but not least we have purchased the jig for the headers and will release the new product soon.

good job , even if think the dyno seem to read on the high side ..
it is still an impressive gain from 272 to 326.

is there a possibility to get some spec on those Momentum header ?

primary size and at the collector exit ?

edit; I found the spec I was looking for.. not surprised of the gain anymore... I saw a few place they were listed at over 1200$ !!!
since Mike got 342whp STD with these . with some more research in the headers design and exhaust + some other work somewhere else . I would estimate an 360whp STD on your dyno is possible without those JUN ext. cams

damn nice gain, can I get a price on the headers? do you use test pipes from 370 or 350? or doesn't matter? I'd like to pair this header with a HFC to meet time attack rules...

You'll have to use TPs or HFCs for the VQDE.
